The Council of Members of the European Youth Forum consisting of more than 104 organizations - International Non-Governmental Youth Organizations and National Youth Councils, took place from 21 to 24 November 2019 in Amiens, France, European Youth Capital for 2020.
The network, ALLIANCE of European Voluntary Service Organizations, is a member of the platform and participated in the event represented by Tilemachos Boni, ELIX staff member.
During the meeting, members of the European Youth Forum discussed and decided on important issues, most notably the adoption of the Strategic Plan for the upcoming 4 years as well as
the "Policy Paper on the Future of Work" which will form the basis for the advocacy of the platform.
The opening of the meeting took place with the announcement of Tirana as the European Capital of Youth for 2022.
During the opening, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, addressed the representatives of the European Youth Forum.
