ELIX has the honor to welcome a delegation of Finnish teachers to our Learning Centers in Patision and in Elaionas’ camp, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 5 and 6 February respectively.
The delegation is consisted by people who are working with migrants/refugees in Finland and they are representing four different areas and fields in education: vocational training, integration training, literacy training and high education for immigrants. All the participants are teachers for Finnish as a second language.
The delegation will be informed during their visit about ELIX’s work on this field and more specifically about our “Learning for Integration” Project that is supported by UNICEF and funded by DG ECHO.
The project is providing quality learning and non-formal education to children, refugee and migrants, aged 3-17 and their parents, in Attica.
