A school visit to ELIX and the Educational Center in Patission Street took place on Tuesday, October 9, by a group of Finnish students from the Gymnasiet Grankulla samskola as part of their educational school trip to Greece.

The students focused during their visit on the refugee crisis and migratory flows in Europe, they got to know to the work of ELIX and the educational programme that is implemented for children, refugees and immigrants, with the support of UNICEF and funded by the European Commission Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection, DG ECHO.

The group visited the onging classes of the learning center and had the opportunity to meet their peers, refugees and migrants, who shared their personal experiences with them.
