Continuing the successful cooperation with Finn Church Aid (FCA), ELIX is starting the “Project Yoga”, an educational project for locals, refugees and migrants that is promoting non-formal education as a tool towards integration and personal development.

In October and November 2017, the project is offering a series of Yoga classes for beginners in order to contribute to integration in Greece by bringing together refugees and host community members and enhance the psychosocial and physical wellbeing of the participants.

The free classes will start from the 31st of October and will take place in 28is Oktovriou 20-22, 2nd floor, 10677, Athens.

The times available are the following:
- 10:00 - 11:30 Women only
- 12:00 - 12:30 Mixed group
- 17:00 - 18:30 Women only

Registrations are open in 28is Oktovriou 20-22 street (close to Omonia metro station) at the 2nd floor and online at the application bellow.

In a second phase the project will contribute to economic self-reliance of highly mobile refugee youth and young adults by providing them with a recognized accreditation for a profession they can do anywhere around the world.

During this phase, the students will also receive business skills trainings according to FCA’s entrepreneurship curriculum to encourage the participants to explore new working possibilities as a yoga instructor.

This project is aiming to reach a total number of 200 beneficiaries, including locals, refugees and migrants.
