Rights in Our Language (DiGlosma) - is a human rights education programme that places multilingualism, multimodality and experiential learning at the core of inclusion and participation. Implemented by ELIX within the framework of the BUILD programme, it addresses children and adolescents aged 12–17, with a particular focus on those experiencing social, educational exclusion and/or displacement.

The project aims to strengthen equal access and active participation in Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education (EDC/HRE), recognising children’s languages, mother tongues, heritage and school languages, digital, artistic and non-verbal forms of expression, as carriers of identity, experience and rights. Language is approached not only as a means of communication, but as a space where rights are explored, negotiated and expressed.
Through a series of experiential workshops, collaborative learning processes, creative and multilingual outputs, student forums and awareness-raising actions, participating children develop life skills such as critical thinking, advocacy, cooperation, empathy and democratic participation. Educators and caregivers are actively involved, supporting the creation of a sustainable, rights-based learning ecosystem.
“DiGlosma” proposes an inclusive educational framework that values diversity, empowers children’s voices and promotes human rights through the languages and modes of expression that children themselves bring into the learning space.
