"Stepkids" a project for the personal and social development of children

ELIX began in October 2016 the implementation of “The Children's Personal and Social Development Program” - "Stepkids" in Kypseli area, Athens, funded by Germany's "Kreuzberger Kinderstiftung" institution.

The aim of this project that run for 10 months was to create small groups where, in an environment of respect and parity, children aged 6 to 12, felt free to express themselves.

"Stepkids" was being implemented under the “Open School project”, an initiative by the Municipalirty of Athens.

ELIX is a Civil, Non Profit Company, founded in 1987 following the initiative of Ms. Eleni Gazi, current Chairman of the Board, to promote volunteerism in Greece and since then implements actions in areas such as environmental protection, the preservation of cultural heritage, the promotion of culture and social cohesion.
