Project of European Volunteering in the city of Bobigny around the highlighting of an old train station of deportation during the Second World War
Description: One German volunteer worked during one year on the project of rehabilitation of a station of deportation which the main goal was to create events on the evolution of the links between France and Germany. The project is born from the will of the City-Hall of Bobigny to develop their heritage and their links with the European Union and more particularly with Germany.
Methodology: We decided to submit a European Volunteering project to the Youth Program in Action because it was the best way to work on this project collaborating with a German association.
Targets groups: Essentially the Muslims people of Bobigny to enable them to discover the heritage of the Jewish population and so decrease the tensions between the two communities.
