YAP Italia (YAP It), founded in the 70s organises and realises international short term activities, seminars, training courses for intercultural youth animators, hosting and sending of young volunteers, campaigns, information projects and thematic communication.
Its structure is based on a network of local groups and partner associations. Added to the voluntary action in the territory, the organisation implements activities of centralised and decentralised information, communication and education of the youth to citizenship and the European dimension.
YAP It also contributes to the involvement and sending of socially, culturally or economically disadvantaged youth and young people at risk to itineraries of non formal education aimed at stimulating their personal growth capacities inside the community. YAP It is member of CCIVS–Unesco (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service) and candidate member of ALLIANCE of European Voluntary Service Organisations.
