ELIX successfully implemented the project “YOUth Exchanges for Diversity - #YEs4Diversity” over 2018-2019, with the financial support of the Erasmus+ programme.
The project included two Youth Exchanges and preparatory meetings (APVs) with the participation of 53 youngsters from Greece, Slovakia, Estonia, France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
This project proposal was the result of the increasing demand by young people actively involved in our organisations and mainly in ELIX, for the development of quality educational activities supporting and promoting intercultural awareness, recognition of the value of diversity and understanding of the importance and meaning of peaceful societies.
The project “YOUth Exchanges for Diversity - #YEs4Diversity” aimed to promote intercultural awareness and diversity, while supporting the development of young people as global citizens, through the creation of a safe space for interaction. (You can read more about the project, its methodology and activities here).
As part of the project, the partnership developed and launched a Guidebook for Youth Exchanges on Diversity, an important output for young people and youth workers for the implementation of quality youth exchanges.
You can read and download the guidebook here.
