Education and Training

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
“MasterPEACE - Training of Youth Multipliers on Peace and Human Rights Education” is the title of the new project proposed by ELIX that will be implemented 8 to 15 of March 2023 with the involvement of more than 25 youth workers who will develop their competences as youth multipliers in peace and human rights education.

In the framework of previously implemented activities in national and international level, the following needs have been identified:

  • To develop more capacities in peace and human rights education, by training young volunteers and active members, board members and staff in human rights education in order to be in place to act as multipliers by applying their knowledge into practice but to advocate for human rights,
  • To apply HRE within the different youth projects organised mainly during the summer,
  • To put human rights education in the core of our activities, using available tools in order to increase the learning outcomes and the impact on young people who are involved in our activities.

Thanks to this training course we expect that youth workers will be acting as multipliers and will be in place to implement their own projects together with the partner organisations using peace and human rights as its core methodology.

The “MasterPEACE - Training of Youth Multipliers on Peace and Human Rights Education” will be integral part of the Raising Peace Campaign coordinated by CCIVS and supported by the Council of Europe that aims to promote human rights in the International Voluntary Service (IVS) movement.
