Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προσκαλεί την Τετάρτη 29 Μαρτίου 2017, στην Πλατεία Συντάγματος, όπου οι συμμετέχοντες-ουσες του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος, “Peace Action Week: Making Change Happen”, θα υλοποιήσουν τις δικές τους δράσεις ευαισθητοποίησης.

Οι δράσεις συνδέονται με τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και συγκεκριμένα με την οικοδόμηση της ειρήνης και την ενίσχυση της διαδικασίας ένταξης των μεταναστών και προσφύγων μέσω της αύξησης της διαπολιτισμικής ευαισθησίας.

Σας περιμένουμε μεταξύ 10:00 το πρωί έως τις 12:00 στην πλατεία, για να ανταλλάξουμε μαζί εμπειρίες, γνώσεις και προοπτικές!

Το παρόν σεμινάριο πραγματοποιεί η ΕΛΙΞ, από τις 23 μέχρι τις 30 Μαρτίου 2017 στην Αθήνα με την συμμετοχή 28 νέων από 7 διαφορετικές χώρες (Ελλάδα, Γαλλία, Ιταλία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Γερμανία, Ουγγαρία και Σλοβακία), από 8 οργανώσεις εταίρους της ΕΛΙΞ.

Στο πλαίσιο της διεθνούς εκστρατείας με τίτλο “Raising Voice – Raising Peace” υπέρ των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων που συντονίζει το δίκτυο Coordinating Committee of International Voluntary Service (CCIVS), η ΕΛΙΞ διοργανώνει την Εβδομάδα Δράσης με τίτλο “Peace Action Week – Making Change Happen” για τα δικαιώματα των μεταναστών, των προσφύγων και των δικαιωμάτων ως πολίτες.

Project Aim:
This Peace Action Week represents for us an extraordinary opportunity and a little, but important step to concretely start the change we want to see in nowadays’ society.

We believe that migration is a challenge which could be transformed into an opportunity for our societies to grow and become more inclusive, multicultural, and peaceful.

Our project aims not only at building peace and fostering migrants’ integration by increasing intercultural sensitivity, but also at improving active participation and commitment among youth.

Objectives:
More specifically,
- To promote a constructive debate where participants will have the opportunity to share their views freely thanks to a peer to peer approach;
- To bring the participants to an active reflection on the topic through non formal education activities and experiential learning;
- To promote mutual understanding among the participants by encouraging them to approach intercultural dialogue with tolerance and open-minded attitude;
- To expand participants’ knowledge about human rights;
- To put the participants in contact not only with actors who are working with refugees and migrants, but also with refugees and migrants themselves;
- To empower the participants - and through them other actors in their communities of origin - by strengthening their skills, in particular the ones needed to organize effective raising awareness actions, projects and events at local, national and international level;
- To encourage participants to take action in their own countries.

Main steps we will follow for the Peace Action Week: Preparation, Training, Awareness raising actions, Communication/Visibility.

Target group: , youth workers and leaders involved in IVS organizations, activists committed to human rights and peace. Ideally, we would like to include some young people with a migration background.
