Μέσω της ELIX, μπορείς και εσύ τώρα να δηλώσεις συμμετοχή σε ένα ενδιαφέρον πρόγραμμα ESC (διάρκειας 8 μηνών) στην πανέμορφη πόλη Sanet y Negrals στην επαρχία του Αλικάντε της Ισπανίας, που διοργανώνεται από την τοπική οργάνωση De Amicitia.
Eάν είσαι από 18 έως 30 ετών και έχεις βασικές γνώσεις Ισπανικών και Αγγλικών, αλλά και την όρεξη για να μάθεις παραπάνω για την ισπανική γλώσσα και κουλτούρα, τότε αυτό το project είναι για σένα!
Οι εθελοντές θα ασχοληθούν με μια ποικιλία καθηκόντων, όπως:
- Συντήρηση και βελτίωση του εθελοντικού σπιτιού του οργανισμού
- Υποδοχή και υποστήριξη νέων εθελοντών
- Οργάνωση δραστηριοτήτων και εκδηλώσεων
- Συμμετοχή σε προγράμματα του οργανισμού
Αναζητούνται εθελοντές που είναι ευέλικτοι και πρόθυμοι να αναλάβουν ηγετικούς ρόλους! Η κατοχή άδειας οδήγησης και βασικών γνώσεων ισπανικών θα εκτιμηθεί.

De Amicitia is an Environmental non-profit, non-governmental organization registered in the Spanish National Associations Register since 1998. No. 164471 Tax No. G82128281. De Amicitia is a member of The Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organizations an International Non-Governmental Youth Organization that represents national organizations that promote intercultural education, understanding and peace through voluntary service. De Amicitia provides an opportunity for volunteers, both youngsters and adults, to take part in local and international volunteering activities, especially towards social protection and sustainable development. These mainly include international workcamps, but also activities in the local areas. In addition, De Amicitia takes part in international youth exchanges and seminars, both as a host and sending organization. These are focused primarily on social activities and promoting development, peace and human rights.
About the work:
De Amicitia is always working on and taking care of the volunteer house for the workcamp season and different activities and your job will be general maintenance to welcome volunteers from the different projects. You are going to be part of a group of people whose main objective will be to keep the house in good condition, suggest improvements and make sure they are carried out, as well as participate in the projects that take place in the house, among others. It is mostly manual work but also organizational. This is the best opportunity to develop your leadership skills.
The volunteers will have an opportunity to live together in a group of people of different nationalities, so they can learn many interesting things from each other, cook together, raise their level of cultural tolerance and practice English and Spanish. In addition, it’s a great experience to work in a team, especially in an international one. It’s a project where you can show all your resolution capacity, creativity, and make some core memories! Being with the local community, the volunteers will have a chance to learn about Spanish culture.
We are looking for volunteers who are decisive and willing to lead a group, develop her/his entrepreneurship skills, taking initiative and intercultural skills, to do manual and organizational work. You need to be flexible and empathetic and also open to get to know new people from new cultures. Driver's license and basic Spanish will be highly valued.
Location:
Sanet is a small town in the southwest of Spain close to Dénia (Comunidad de Valencia) in beautiful countryside, surrounded by hills which are great for hiking - there are a lot of hiking trails to discover. Dénia is only 10 minutes by car. The house is located right in the middle of town, so there are great opportunities to interact and socialize with the locals and to truly experience the Spanish countryside. Furthermore, the volunteers can make excursions to Ondara and El Vergel, local towns close to Sanet. The surrounding villages like Benimelli and Ràfol d'Almunia can also be visited. There will also be day trips to the beach which is about 15 minutes by car from Sanet if you have time. Keep in mind you may need some extra money for free-time activities (not obligatory).
