Η ΕΛΙΞ αποτελεί περήφανο εταίρο σε ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον πρόγραμμα του European Solidarity Corps, με το όνομα "Προώθηση του εθελοντισμού και της συμμετοχής των νέων", Project που υλοποιεί η Ιταλική Οργάνωση Associazione InformaGiovani. Οι εθελοντές μας θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να εκπαιδευτούν πάνω στη Διαχείριση Έργων (Project Management), αλλά και το brainstorming και τη διοργάνωση συνεδρίων και εργαστηρίων που απευθύνονται σε νέους.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, οι εθελοντές θα έχουν υποστηρικτικό ρόλο στα εξής :

• Προώθηση των διαφόρων ESC, Erasmus+ Projects και κινητικότητας της τοπικής νεολαίας, σε σχολεία και πανεπιστήμια
• Υποστήριξη των καλοκαιρινών workcamps και άλλων βραχυπρόθεσμων εθελοντικών δραστηριοτήτων
• Διαχείριση τοπικών εργαστηρίων με χρήση μεθόδων Μη Τυπικής Εκπαίδευσης
• Τακτοποίηση εθελοντών κατά την έλευση

Αναζητούμε δύο (2) εθελοντές, ηλικίας 22 ετών και άνω, με όρεξη και μεράκι για συμμετοχή και υλοποίηση των φιλοδοξιών του νεανικού αυτού project!

Σημαντική Σημείωση : Ζητείται προηγούμενη εμπειρία από τους εθελοντές, καθώς και ενδιαφέρον για επικοινωνία με νέους στην αγγλική και στην ιταλική γλώσσα (εφόσον εξοικειωθούν με αυτήν).

SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

This project is funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme, and aims to offer young people the opportunity to undertake a path of personal and professional growth in the field of social volunteering in organisations that have been operating for years in areas of intervention linked to their territory and the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.

Through the project we intend to offer volunteers the possibility of:

- acquiring new skills in the field of youth animation and social planning
- stimulating active participation in initiatives with a concrete impact on the community, and at the same time developing their sense of belonging to the European community
- stimulating creativity and sense of initiative, ability to team-working and increase self-esteem
- strengthening and promoting values such as multiculturalism, respect for diversity and spirit of solidarity
- improving volunteers' employability skills and competences

The project aims at involving young people with fewer opportunities (e.g., unemployed, NEET, young people from disadvantaged social background, or at risk of gender, ethnic discrimination, asylum seekers, young people from rural areas).

ASSOCIAZIONE INFORMAGIOVANI

Associazione InformaGiovani is a no-profit organisation active since 2001 in the field of youth by promoting the right to information, local and international volunteering and youth mobility with a focus to young people with fewer opportunities.

- Involve young people in volunteering projects as coordinating and supporting organisation for Erasmus+/ESC projects about interculturalism, inclusion, volunteerism, active participation and media literacy through non-formal education.
- Run local international workcamps for promoting tolerance, diversity and cultural understanding.
- Infoday held online and at presencial about EU initiatives like Youth Exchange, Volunteering and Solidarity projects (ESC) etc.
- Implementing national and international training course, youth exchanges, pre-departure trainings for young future volunteers/participants
- Run seminar under the frame of Eurodesk network
- Infodesk (meetings) for young people about EU initiatives (Eurodesk)
- Newsletter for promoting job vacancies and volunteering initiatives for youth
- Networking at national and international level

VOLUNTEERS' ACTIVITIES

- supporting the preparation of Infoday held online and face-to-face (at school, youth centre, etc) about EU initiatives like Youth Exchange, Volunteering and Solidarity projects (ESC).
- supporting the preparation and the implementation of national and international training course, youth exchanges, pre-departure trainings for young people, (including selection of participants/volunteers, pre-departure support, management of volunteers’ database, supporting logistics, etc.)
- co-leading international youth projects in summer
- support administrative tasks and working in the office (working with PC, writing/answering emails, use of MS office (Word, Excel), do paper-work, run administrative tasks, etc.
- to create workshops on specific topics based on non-formal methods and implement
- promoting ESC volunteering through InformaGiovani blog, social media, promotional events, ESC projects organised by InformaGiovani

Volunteers will develop and implement a personal project/activity to enrich the work of the Receiving Organisation.

VOLUNTEERS' PROFILE

- interest in promoting youth participation and volunteerism
- to know non formal education methods and be motivated to use during workshops with local and international young people
- be flexible and able to adapt, proactive, ability for team working and curry on tasks individually
- sensitivity in social inclusion
- knowledge of english (B1), some knowledge of Italian language is welcome but not mandatory

- We are looking for volunteers with strong motivation in discovering youth work and NGO-ordinary life (covering different tasks from promotion to implementation, and from leading groups to management of activities.
- aged 22-30 years
- previous experiences in volunteering
- interest in promoting youth participation and volunteerism
- to know non formal education methods and be motivated to use during workshops with local and international young people
- be flexible and able to adapt, proactive, ability for team working and curry on tasks individually
- sensitivity in social inclusion
- knowledge of english (B1), some knowledge of Italian language is welcome but not mandatory

SERVICE CONDITIONS

The service will be approximatively 35 hours per week, including language preparation. Service is ALSO run during weekends according activities implemented.

Travel costs: Outward and return tickets covered up to Euro 275,00 after providing supporting documents (booking confirmation, boarding passes, local tickets).

Accommodation: Volunteer will be hosted in double-room shared with another volunteer. Flat is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture).
Free wi-fi is available. Accommodation is located not far from the city centre, and well connected with public transportation.

Local transport: working place is close to the accommodation, walking distance

Pocket money: Monthly cash allowance (Euro 5,00 per day)
