Το κοινωνικό-πολιτιστικό κέντρο "Die VILLA" αποτελεί έναν σύγχρονο νεανικό και κοινωνικό θεσμό, στο κέντρο της Λειψίας. Η Οργάνωση Villa δραστηριοποιείται στον τομέα της ευρωπαϊκής εθελοντικής εργασίας από το 2001, συντονίζοντας μεταξύ άλλων πολλαπλά projects του European Solidarity Corps.
Η πόλη της Λειψίας βρίσκεται στη Σαξονία και είναι έδρα του δεύτερου παλαιότερου πανεπιστημίου της Γερμανίας, καθώς και πολλών εκθέσεων. Είναι γνωστή επίσης για τα πάρκα και τις λίμνες της, καθώς και την ιδιαίτερα ζωντανή ατμόσφαιρα της πόλης.
Στο πλαίσιο των εθελοντικών δραστηριοτήτων του "Die Villa", αναζητούμε εθελοντές και εθελόντριες οι οποίοι/ες θα συμμετέχουν στις εξής δραστηριότητες :
- Εθελοντική Εργασία με παιδιά στο νηπιαγωγείο. Υποστήριξη των παιδαγωγών στην καθημερινότητα τους με τα παιδιά, στήσιμο και παρακολούθηση μικρών και μεγάλων Projects στους χώρους του νηπιαγωγείου. (3 Θέσεις)
- Διεθνής εθελοντική εργασία στο KV KAOS Kulturwerkstatt. Δημόσιες σχέσεις, διοργάνωση συναντήσεων και εκδηλώσεων, εργασία με νέους. (1 Θέση)
- Εθελοντική εργασία μετά το σχολείο στο "Freie Waldorfschule Leipzig". Υποστήριξη του προσωπικού κατά τις απογευματινές δραστηριότητες, διοργάνωση απογευματινών events κλπ. (2 Θέσεις)
- Εθελοντική εργασία στη λέσχη νέων «CJD Ökohaus». Εργασίες σχετικές με φύση και κηπουρική, δραστηριότητες εκπαίδευσης και αναψυχής για τα παιδιά. (1 Θέση)
- Εθελοντική εργασία στο κουκλοθέατρο «Westflügel». Υποστήριξη των παραστάσεων, εργασίες μέσα στο κουκλοθέατρο, δημόσιες σχέσεις. (1 Θέση)
Αναζητούμε οκτώ (8) εθελοντές/εθελόντριες, οι οποίοι/ες θα συμμετέχουν στις ανωτέρω εργασίες, ξεκινώντας από το Μάρτιο του 2024.

“The European Solidarity Corps brings together young people to build a more inclusive society, supporting vulnerable people and responding to societal challenges. It offers an inspiring and empowering experience for young people who want to help, learn and develop. “
The ESC offers you the opportunity to become more involved and actively contribute to the community. And for sure you get the chance to explore the world and learn new things about yourself, meet other people and make new friends, gain work experience and get to know another country and learn about other cultures, improve your language skills or just be away from home for a while.... The list is endless and it's up to you what you want to do. But we want to support you on your journey, so don't hesitate to apply. You can find the open positions at the end of this document.
Villa:
The socio-cultural centre “Die VILLA” is a modern youth, cultural and social institution close to the centre of Leipzig. VILLA has been active in the field of European volunteer service since 2001 and gained very good experiences. Meanwhile we are coordinating organisation for different ESC projects in Leipzig and abroad, we send around 15 people per year abroad in ESC projects and host 16 people per year in projects all over the town (youth centres, kinder garden, Waldorf school, youth art centre).
Leipzig:
The city of Leipzig is located in the north-west of the Free State of Saxony. The city and its 600,000 inhabitants became known throughout the world in the fall of 1989 as the center of the peaceful revolutionary movement in East Germany. It is home to the second-oldest university in Germany, as well as serving as an important trade fair center. Around one million people visit Leipzig every year, enjoying the city's lively atmosphere and diverse cultural offerings. In addition, Leipzig has beautiful parks and two lakes that can be reached by public transportation.
General information:
The volunteering program is the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) by the European Union. The program covers the costs of your volunteering like traveling, food, accommodation and insurance. Your volunteering will last for 12 months. During this time your support your project in everyday work, bring in your own ideas and learn a lot of new things and competences. We host altogether around 20 volunteers in 4 flats. We arrange project days and some social events.
You’ll have a single-bed room in a flat share with about 5 other volunteers (mixed genders) in the Leipzig city centre. You share common rooms like kitchen and bathrooms. You are responsible for your own room and as group you keep the common rooms clean and tidy
You’ll receive about 180€ pocket money + money for food + transportation and access to our basic German language class (only to support you in the beginning). The travel costs to Germany and back will be covered, as well as VISA costs. During the volunteering you are insured and have a health insurance.

Who can apply?
You have to be between 18 and 26 years old and you have to be registered at the official ESC website https://youth.europa.eu/go-abroad/volunteering_en . Here you also find more information if it’s possible to do an ESC.
Open volunteering positions:
Volunteering in child care in kindergartens
- work in a group with children between 2 and 7 years
- kinder gardens have different specializations like creativity, sports or inclusion
- support the pedagogues in their daily routines with the kids
- attend creative projects that are carried through the different spaces of the kindergarten (handicrafts, theatre...)
- set up own small or bigger projects in the kindergarten
- volunteer shall actively enter aspects of his/her own culture into the daily life with the kids and create special projects around this
Volunteering in international youth work at KV KAOS Kulturwerkstatt
- Take part in non-formal and international youth work
- Depending on their skills, the focus of their work can be on public relations, organising meetings or working with young people
- If the volunteer is interested in prevention work in the field of sects/cults/extremist groups and speaks German well enough, he/she/they can also support this colleague
Volunteering in after school care at “Freie Waldorfschule Leipzig”
- The volunteer will mainly be active in the day nursery (grades 1-4 / 6-10 years) to support the staff during the lunch times and the afternoon activities (games, special projects).
- According to the interests of the volunteer, he/she may also carry through special creative projects with the kids (singing, dancing…). The volunteer shall present aspects of his or her own country, e.g. music, language, games, handicraft or cooking.
- The volunteer´s own ideas can be realized in every-day work during
the afternoons as well as in various projects, parties etc. The volunteer also has the chance to develop an own project during the year. - The opportunities for children and teenagers to acquire intercultural competence are scarce in the East of Germany
Volunteering in Youth Club “CJD Ökohaus”
- In the eco-house you work with young people from different ages like 6 – 16 years
- The youth club has a strong focus and nature and gardening and there is a big garden and a forest around the building itself.
- Together with the staff you carry out education and leisure activities for the young children
- The eco-house is still in the initial phase so ideas and own projects of the volunteer are welcome.
- The volunteer shall bring aspects of his or her own country into the work, e.g. music, games, sports, language, cooking or handicraft.
Volunteering in puppet theatre “Westflügel”
- The range of tasks that arises in our theatre is wide. Due to the very small structure, we are flexible to respond to the talents and interests of our team members.
- Your tasks will include the evening services at the house (on average, this is 1-2 per week and includes performance support and bar service).
- Further tasks which are handles by everyone in the team are taking care of the guest ensembles and the daily tasks at the house (from cleaning the toilets to heating the ovens to cleaning the guest apartment)
- Tasks in which you could gain experience and contribute are e.g.:
- event organization
- Press and public relations
- Management of a cultural enterprise
- Technical realization of the guest performances
- Support of the volunteers
- Depending on your interests, it is possible to bring in your own ideas in these areas and implement them (e.g. your own social media channel, a series of events in the bar, etc.).
- Since we are NOT a theatre group, we cannot offer the possibility to be on stage or to be part of a production.
