H ΕΛΙΞ σε συνεργασία με την μη κυβερνητική οργάνωση De Amicitia της Ισπανίας έχει εξασφαλίσει και σας προτείνει ένα πρόγραμμα EVS μικρής διάρκειας (2 μηνών) αυτό το καλοκαίρι που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ισπανία. Το πρόγραμμα αφορά νέους ηλικίας 18 με 30 χρονών.
Το EVS πρόγραμμα πρέπει να υλοποιηθεί μέσα στην περίοδο από την 1η Ιουλίου έως τις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2015 και να έχει διάρκεια ακριβώς 2 μήνες.

NAME OF THE PROJECT: Meet your Mate
MAIN TOPIC: Diverse. Campleading or workcamp supporter
Project:
Meet your Mate is the continuation of ‘A man with a plan under the sun’ in which 13 young people will come to support different projects for De Amiticia during Summer season 2015. They will be involved in the Alliance Work Camps. During summer season 2015 De Amicitia will organize 30 workcamps and 3 youth exchanges and other projects and will need the support of youngsters to:
1) Be campleader: Mainly leading a workcamp. Open for a volunteer with previous experiences in workcamps.
2) Be Supporter of a camp: supporting the campleader or promoting any of the campaigns in which De Amicitia is involved. Open mainly for volunteer with low or no experience in workcamps.
3) Support other local projects (children camps and local farmers/transhumancia)
The main goal of the project is to help us with our Summer season of workcamps.
To lead workcamps they must have previous experience in workcamps and/or have some kind of training. In other case they can also start supporting and participating in a workcamp as normal volunteers or get training immersed in our activity in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, getting to know the way we work and prepare themselves for their project, participating in practical and theoretical training, and after leading a camp by themselves.
Afterwards, the youngster will travel to different areas of Madrid, Spain, supporting and coordinating volunteer camps and other projects, enjoying the intense experiences as leaders of these projects. In this period they will also undertake some work of monitoring and evaluation of projects and also do other activities of non-formal education workshops. The last phase of this volunteer work will include some evaluation and dissemination of the projects. Throughout the project if they wish, youngster also will support structural activities of the association, for instance beekeeping, gardening, and others...
Still they can combine these workcamps activities with support of other activities (transhumance, supporting local shepherds or supporting children camps in rural areas.
2 MONTHS EVS: OPTIONS WE CAN OFFER YOU
- Lead/support 3 workcamps
- Lead/support 2 workcamps and stay 1-2 weeks as a linguistic support and help to co-organize workshops for children in La Cabrera, near Gargantilla del Lozoya
- Lead/support 2 workcamps and stay 1-2 week helping at the farm in Gascones, near Gargantilla del Lozoya
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Even though this is a flexible project where volunteers propose dates when they want to arrive and projects which they want to take part in, we would like to propose you a project according to your availability and capacities.

Accommodation: During the workcamps you will be accommodated as a normal volunteer. Between the workcamps you can come to our main office to Gargantilla del Lozoya and stay at our place, basically in a Camping place (see the options above) or you can travel to the next project and spend some free time visiting interesting spots you wish to.
Languages: English and Spanish (basic level)
Age: 18-30 years old
ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ EVS ΚΑΛΥΠΤΕΙ:
1. γλωσσική και πολιτισμική κατάρτιση
2. το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του κόστους του εισιτήριου ανάλογα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση μετάβασης στη χώρα του προγράμματος και επιστροφής από αυτή
3. παρέχει διαμονή, πλήρη διατροφή και επιπλέον μηνιαίο επίδομα της τάξης των 105 €
4. ασφάλιση υγείας για το διάστημα της εθελοντικής υπηρεσίας
5. χορήγηση πιστοποιητικού που θα βεβαιώνει τη συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα
6. υποστήριξη μετά την επιστροφή για την αξιοποίηση της εμπειρίας σας.
