Σε συνεργασία με την γαλλική οργάνωση Compagnons Batisseurs, η ELIX σας προτείνει μια ευκαιρία εθελοντικής εργασίας μεγάλης διάρκειας στην Γαλλία στο πλαίσιο του γαλλικού προγράμματος French Civic Service.
O εθελοντής/η εθελόντρια που θα επιλεχθεί θα βοηθήσει στην ανακαίνιση και κατασκευή των σπιτιών όπου μένουν οικογένειες και άνθρωποι με οικονομικές δυσκολίες. Η δράση θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τέλος Δεκεμβρίου 2017 για εννέα ή δώδεκα μήνες στην πόλη Lille της Βόρειας Γαλλίας.

Conditions:
- Reading the project and being interested in CBF network and its action
- Age: 18 - 25 years old
- A basic knowledge of the French language is preferred
- Being citizen of European Union (or from a country partner with France)
- Driving license (strongly required)

Description:
By helping in renovation and construction works volunteers will bring concrete help to organizations dedicated to projects of common interest and to families and people in need who are often excluded from society.
The teams will intervene with and for the families, in order to improve their living conditions. They will work in one of the 11 local Compagnons Bâtisseurs organizations in France. Each regional organization will host a group of 2 to 10 volunteers.
Role of a CBF volunteer:
The voluntary work projects are open to girls and boys over 18 from different nationalities, with or without preliminary knowledge and/or experience in construction and renovation. They have different status: European Voluntary Service volunteers and French Civic Service volunteers. International and local volunteers can be part of the same team.
Some local organizations are also hosting young people with fewer opportunities, and are working closely with local actors from the youth field.
Volunteers must be prepared to commit to the fulfillment of the objectives of the organization for 1 year and should be aware that they will:
- closely work with families in need and with organizations involved in community projects
- participate in the associative and local life
- work in a particular context of a non lucrative organization
- share a daily and collective life with other volunteers
- share a different experience of life.
Although the commitment is demanding, it also offers invaluable experience. During the project volunteers will also find many ways to learn new people and live intercultural exchange.
Work description :
By cooperating with the staff (administrative and technical mentors) and, in some cases, with the social worker in charge of the family, volunteers will participate in technical works. The main objective is to try to involve the families in the improvement of their living conditions by working together with them in their homes. This means that the social and human aspects of the project are very important for its success.
According to volunteers' interests, the local team could involve them in other aspects of the program (first meeting with the family, financial arrangement, technical preparation, social evaluation, etc.)
Furthermore, most of the time volunteers will have lunch with the families. This will give volunteers and families the opportunity to know each other and to develop strong relationships based on trust and sharing.
Volunteers will be fully involved in the life of the organization through their participation in the national and local executive boards, the general assemblies and the Long Term Volunteers’ group which connects all the volunteers that are involved in CBF network. In the summer volunteers will have the possibility to work as group leaders or co-leaders in international workcamps organized by CBF.

Τα έξοδα ταξιδιού καλύπτονται από τους ίδιους τους εθελοντές.
Η διαμονή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
Επιπλέον, ο εθελοντής θα λάβει ένα μηναίο επίδομα των 472 ευρώ για την κάλυψη των εξόδων της διατροφής του και προσωπικά έξοδα.
Το ποσό συμμετοχής είναι 100€ και θα καταβληθεί μόνο στην περίπτωση επιλογής του/της εθελοντή/ντριας
