Οι προτάσεις μας για καλοκαιρινά Προγράμματα Εθελοντισμού αυτή την εβδομάδα είναι στην Σλοβακία, την Σερβία, την Γερμανία, την Φιλανδία, την Πορτογαλία και δύο μέσης διάρκειας στην Ελβετία και την Εσθονία.
Θέματα όπως κοινωνικά – στήριξη σε παιδιά και νέους, συντήρησης κάστρου, καλλιτεχνικά – φεστιβάλ, πολιτιστικό και περιβαλλοντικό.

1. ISL 04, FAMILY CENTER PRESPORKOVO, στο Bratislava της Σλοβακίας, από 27/06/2015 - 12/07/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Απασχόληση με Παιδιά και Νέους
"The work of the first days will be focused on manual work in the centre where the volunteers will help with cleaning the centre, toys, preparing for the kids camp. They will also clean garden and the garden yard where the children play. The families and children will join these activities with volunteers. The volunteers will help with organization of activities, games, creative workshops and intercultural program for children at the centre from 1st to 10th July. Study Part: The workcamp will be visited by INEX Messenger, who will organize a workshop focused on current events in Europe. The volunteers will prepare "Feast of cultures" - an international food festival for the local community, and will join the “volunteering footprint” workshop. Our camps will follow the rules of Sustainability campaign.

2. ISL 08, STONE TOWER, στο Lipany nad torys της Σλοβακίας, από 22/07/2015 - 31/07/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Συντήρησης
"The Association Kamenna Veza (Stone Tower) was founded in 2006 and its aim is the preservation, recovery and study of culture of Kamenica castle especially on a regional level. The association is trying to make the castle accessible to wide public and also to youth volunteers and has been organizing international workcamps since 2010.
WORK: Help with archaeological research and revitalizing the old ruins of the Kamenica Castle from first half of 13th Century: cleaning the place from vegetation, storing and sorting of stones and help with other interesting researches. The volunteers will help also in the workcamp kitchen.

3. VSS07, PARK FEST, UZICE, στο Uzice της Σερβίας, από 22/07/2015 - 03/08/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Καλλιτεχνικό - Φεστιβάλ- Ανακαίνισης Extra Fee: 20€
"Volunteers will be involved in Park Fest and in extreme mountain bike downhill competition on the Zlatibor Mountain. The festival started from small local concerts with the idea to bring more fun into the life of young people in Uzice and now 6 years after the festival is known on the national scale. We will assemble and then disassemble the track for the mountain bike downhill race, festival stages, fences, stalls and tents; we will make and publish photos of the race, area and festival and do all sorts of promotional activities (online follow up of the festival, distribution of promo material, talking with the people etc.); we will build solar panels, collect aluminium cans, create areas for recycling and upcycling, and other things depending of the need of the festival, like assisting the musicians, etc."

The project: This workcamp offers the opportunity to get to know a wide range of social commitment and civil society initiatives and organisations in Germany: It is organized around the “Evangelischer Kirchentag” (German Protestant Kirchentag) which is a large national and international church congress held by the Protestant churches in Germany. It gathers around one hundred thousand participants and provides space for numerous civil society initiatives and organizations to meet and exchange opinions and views. We are invited to take part in this significant event and to contribute actively by presenting the experiences of the first part of our work camp.
Remarks: Good knowledge of English language is an advantage! Please send us a short motivation letter with application. Because of additional costs for the entrance to the Kirchentag and the travel we ask for a contribution towards the cost of 30, - Euro. Reduction maybe possible upon request. The work camp starts in Mutlangen in Schwäbisch Gmünd and ends in Stuttgart. Please, bring clothing also for cold and wet weather, work clothes and shoes, musical instruments and please, do not forget an isolation sheet and a sleeping bag! The food provided during the camp in Mutlangen will be vegetarian.

"Hyvarila Youth Centre belongs to a national network of 10 youth centers coordinating, implementing and developing youth work and youth policy in Finland. Volunteers will work supporting the Hyvärilä Youth Centre staff in coordinating, organizing and implementing the Nordic 4H Youth Camp organized from 23rd July to 30th July 2015 in Hyvärila Youth centre bringing together more than 1000 young people from Nordic countries.
WORK: The volunteers will take responsibilities in supporting practical arrangements of the event (logistics, food service), running intercultural workshops during the 4H camp and generally bringing intercultural flare to the event and working atmosphere of the youth centre.
NOTE: The volunteers need travel insurance for the duration of their stay"
6. PT-PO-06-15, STAGE ON THE STREET: ALL INCLUDED!, στο Amarante της Πορτογαλίας, από 01/07/2015 - 12/07/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Κοινωνικό - Απασχόληση με Άτομα με Ειδικές Ανάγκες
"Aims: to raise awareness among the participants and the population on social inclusion, mainly concerning handicapped young people; to raise awareness also about fair trade, organic farms and environment preservation. Activities: group dynamics; presentation to the city and region; discussion on the workcamp theme (objectives, tasks division); visit to the most important places of the city; training on theatre performance and workshop on how to deal with the difference; direct contact and work with local NGO (Cercimarante) responsible for activities with local handicapped young people; organize an event (theatre performance) involving both groups (workcamp participants and local handicapped young people) to be presented to the local community (street performance – expected more than 500 persons to attend); visits to some of the main cities and spots in the North of Portugal (Guimarães, Porto, Parque Natural do Alvão)."
Προγράμματα Μεσαίας Διάρκειας (MTV Projects)
1. WS15SCH02, ALP SUMMER, στο Davos της Ελβετίας, από 25/07/2015 - 22/08/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Περιβαλλοντικό
"For nature lovers, who are interested in garden and agriculture work! - In the beautiful region of Davos (Schatzalp) there is the „Alpinum“, a huge botanical garden in the mountains. An association was founded to support this garden and to save some rare species and the nature over there for the next generations. In this botanical garden guests can find many rare plants and about 5000 different types of species and cultivars. The group of Volunteers consists of four people. Interested candidates should be autonomous and self-managing. Leisure activities have to be organized independently.
WORK: Every year, there is a lot of work to be done in the botanical garden. The Volunteers will sup-port the gardener in his daily work. Interested Volunteers should be physically strong and interested in agricultural and garden work. Work is seven hours a day; two days per week are off.
ΝΟΤΕ: The motivation of the volunteers has to be very high to work outdoors and it can be physically demanding. Applicants should be very interested in gardening work and agriculture. That’s why a MOTIVATION LETTER is required."
2. EST MTV 2, MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO, στο Nova της Εσθονίας, από 26/06/2015 - 28/08/2015, τύπος εργασίας: Απασχόληση με Παιδιά και Νέους Ηλικία: 18-48
PROGRAM There are diverse activities in the program: windsurfing, canoeing, sailing with Viking boats, paintball in the forest, sport games - football, rugby, volleyball, athletics, different competitions, guided eco-hikes, sport orientation, bicycle trips to explore the area, table tennis, visit to the horse farm with horse riding, excursion to Keila waterfall and historical places of interest in the area, bus excursion to Haapsalu to visit Episcopal Castle (www.haapsalulinnus.ee ) and Old Railway Museum, games at Roosta Adventure Park, picnics on the seaside, evening of Estonian national dances and food, making castles from sand and stones on the beach, fanny party with Estonian sauna, night cinema in open air theatre, Estonian police`s fanny lesson - Feel like a real cop, etc. You can also try to make wooden and woolen handicrafts and kitchen utensils, learn folk dances. In addition there will be creative workshops on manufacturing sheath-knife´s case from natural leather and decorative burning (scorching) on leather; decoupage; soap-making; wooden handicrafts. Bikes are available for the whole duration of the shift.
WORK There will be diverse voluntary work such as painting of community buildings, making wooden toys and games for local orphanage, repairing benches and tables, cleaning local beach and old seaport from garbage, planting trees, cleaning old cemetery, little renovation works in the local school, clearing pavement, helping seniors living in the community with some household duties, berry picking to give the crop to the orphanage, planting trees, duty in a kitchen and around the camp once in a shift, etc. The work will be organised in close cooperation with local forestry department, municipality of Nova and local school. Please note that the work above is planned for the whole summer and it will change from shift to shift depending on a season and actual weather conditions. For Mid-term volunteer camp leader the tasks will be - informing and preparing the international participants of the specific works and activities; - assisting running the camp daily program; - monitoring the compliance with the camp´s rules; - facilitating the integration of all the participants – local and international; - keeping contact with the local population; - facilitating the communication between the camp´s instructors and participants; - preparing an running evening camp program; - running post camp evaluation.
REQIREMENTS: General requirements Participants have to be sporty (e.g. be ready to run up to 3 km, bike up to 25 km), curious and interested in active life style...
