Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος ανταλλαγής νέων με τίτλο "Melting Potes: Imm-agination" διάρκειας 10 ημερών, που φιλοξενείται από την οργάνωση Solidarites Jeunesses, αναζητά 4 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18 έως 30 ετών και έναν/μια αρχηγό ηλικίας 18+ προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 5 έως τις 26 Αυγούστου 2019 στη Νοτιοανατολική Γαλλία, στο Vaunières.

H/O αρχηγός/επικεφαλής για την συγκεκριμένη ανταλλαγή νέων θα πρέπει να μπορεί να συμμετέχει στην προπαρασκευαστική συνάντηση (APV - Advanced Planning Visit), που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Γαλλία τον Ιούνιο ή τον Ιούλιο 2019. Η προθεσμία για αιτήσεις είναι στις 27 Ιουνίου 2019.

Topic: Migration

Background of the project
Since 2017, a wave of migration is happening in the Hautes Alps, across with the Italian border. The integration of the new arrivals in the region matters to us. Even if we are already working on migrants’ inclusion, by inviting them to international workcamps or working for emergency arrival organizations, we feel that there is still a lot to do. The Youth Exchange will be the opportunity to discuss different approaches to migration from different perspectives. We are going to use the Happening at the end of the project called “Melting Potes”, in order to disseminate our conclusions and try to raise awareness around this topic.

Objectives and activities
1) Reflecting on migration.

• Discussions with local population and within the group about the topic of migration; personal experiences, family migration stories, etc.
• Presentations on different policies and initiatives from participants’ countries.
• Approach to migration through non formal education tools, such as the World Café, Forum Theatre, or Cine-debate.
• Visit to organizations that work with migrants

2) Organization of the festival “Melting Potes: Imm-Agination”

• Preparation of workshops for visitors, in order to disseminate the conclusions of the project
• Assisting with the setting of the festival.
• Communication: sharing ideas about short videos, flyers, Facebook page, etc.

Venue
Vaunières (6 km from the village of St Julien en Beauchêne, 40 km from the city of Gap).

In the heart of the Hautes Alpes, the association “Les Villages des Jeunes” has been managing, livening up and renovating the reception centre of Vaunières since 1964. It is an old mountain hamlet, now a ‘springboard' place for youth and adults experiencing family, health or professional difficulties who need to take some time to recharge, acquire new skills and reflect on their plans. Vaunières is also a place where families, tourists and people with disabilities go on holiday to enjoy the calm of the mountains and the dynamics of the place. The work amps that we organize at Vaunières with volunteers from all over the world allow us to strengthen the cultural diversity of our activities and to make this site open to the world, a place where people of all ages and from any social and/or cultural backgrounds agrees to meet by working together and sharing collective life. We hope that you will also come in this spirit of encounter and working together which brings our project to life.

Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated under tents and will have all the facilities of the centre (dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets) at their disposal. Daily tasks (meals, cleaning etc.) are shared by all volunteers.

Participants
Participants should be aged 18 to 30. There is no age limit for group leaders. No specific skills are required to take part in this project, just a strong motivation to experience multicultural collective life. Participants having experience in this field and willing to share their knowledge are welcome! Bring your music instruments and songs with you if you have some.

APV (Advanced Planning Visit)
An advanced planning visit for this project will be proposed to our partners in May or June to exchange about the project and collaborate together.

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ.…). Σύμφωνα με τους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+, το μέγιστο ποσό που καλύπτεται για τα μεταφορικά είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.
