“Take a look at Europe” πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής νέων στην Γαλλία. Φωτογράφισε ... την Ευρωπαϊκή ιθαγένεια!

Η ΕΛΙΞ είναι εταίρος του προγράμματος “Take a look at Europe ” διάρκειας 21 ημερών, που συντονίζεται από την γαλλική οργάνωση Réseau d'Entraide Volontaire (REV) και υποστηρίζεται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ με στόχο την προώθηση, κατανόηση και ευαισθητοποίηση της νεολαίας σε θέματα Ευρωπαϊκής ιθαγένειας.

Αναζητούμε τέσσερεις (4) συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18 έως 30 ετών και έναν/μια (1) αρχηγό (ανεξαρτήτου ηλικίας) προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα από τις 23 Ιουλίου έως τις 13 Αυγούστου (νέες ημ/νίες) στην περιοχή Gard της Γαλλίας και συγκεκριμένα, στο Vergèze City. 

Κυριολεκτικά «Πάρε μια ματιά την Ευρώπη», καθώς το πρόγραμμα θα συντονίσει επαγγελματίας φωτογράφος! Στόχος είναι οι συμμετέχοντες να κοιτάξουν καλύτερα την Ευρώπη κοιτάζοντας καλύτερα μεταξύ τους και ...φωτογραφίζοντας. Μέσω της χρήσης αναλογικής και ψηφιακής φωτογραφίας, οι συμμετέχοντες θα συμμετέχουν σε εργαστήρια όπου ο επαναπροσδιορισμός της Ευρωπαϊκής ιθαγένειας θα συναντήσει τη φωτογράφιση, όπου αυτό που συνιστά την ταυτότητα συγχνωνεύεται μ’ αυτό που συνιστά την εικόνα. Η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και ως εκ τούτου η Ευρωπαϊκή Νεολαία έχουν δοκιμαστεί αρκετά πρόσφατα και οι κεντρικές αξίες και η σημασία της φαίνεται να δοκιμάζονται τακτικά. Με αυτό το πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής, οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να επιβεβαιώσουν εκ νέου τί συνιστά Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση στα μάτια τους και να την παρουσιάσουν, όχι με προτάσεις συντακτικά άριστες, αλλά μέσω της φωτογραφίας από τους ίδιους τους συμμετέχοντες.

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Occitanie Regional Delegation of Solidarités Jeunesses is called REV, for “Réseau d'Entraide Volontaire”, REV like a dream in French (rêve!). Founded in 1974, the association became a delegation of Solidarités Jeunesses in 1979. REV has 2 sites : one house to host young long term volunteers in Beauvoisin (Gard department) and an office in Florac Trois Rivières (Lozère department). Throughout the year, the REV welcomes those who, through the contribution they will make to the collective project, consciously or unconsciously seek to enrich themselves from this experience: international volunteers (SVE...), Groups formed French or international, young people in civic service, young people in break-ups, etc. During the summer, the organization of international workcamp intensifies the life of the REV, and increases its local presence through meetings and actions that are conducted by young people in partnership with the local communities and associations that welcome them

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
The main objectives of the project are. To:

• offer the opportunity to enhance or develop new skills and understanding of photography making
• collectively discuss the European identity, and exchange about its values and its challenges
• create photography to express the diversity and indentity of European Union.
• live a collective and intercultural experience.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Build an European citizenship using photos

Taking a look at a literal sense, since this youth exchange will be lead by a professional photographer. During this youth exchange, participant will take a close look at Europe by taking a close look at each other with the use of photography. Using digital and analog technics of photography, participants will engage in several workshop where the building of European Citizenship will meet the making of images, where looking for what makes one identity merge with what makes a picture. European Union, and therefore European Youth, have been through a lot of challenging times recently, and its core meaning and values seems to be regularly put in danger. With this youth exchange, participants will have the opportunity to reaffirm what makes European Union in their eyes, and to present that not in well thought sentences, but with photography produced by the participants.

You can be a great photography enthusiast, or just a curious young European willing to debate, exchange and create together, this project is for you.

LOCATION
Vergèze City - South of France (between Nîmes and Montpellier).
The airports with the best train connections are: Marseille and Montpellier. The closest train station is Vergèze Codognan.

METHODOLOGY
Discussion workshop, Photography training, debate, and discovery of local area.

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS
Participants should be aged 18 to 30. There is no age limit for group leaders. No specific skills are required to take part in this project, just a strong motivation to experience a multicultural collective life. Participants having experience in this field and willing to share their knowledge are welcome! Bring your music instruments and songs with you if you got some.

ACCOMODATION AND LOCATION
The accommodation will be in a Sociocultural Center, in Vergèze City.
Participants will sleep at a social center in shared bedrooms having access to all the facilities of the center (dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets). Daily tasks (meals, cleaning etc.) are shared by all volunteers.

100% lodging and food are covered by the Erasmus+ programme.

Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case it will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 320€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)
Travel costs will be covered based on the distance calulator and the related unit costs of the program. Please note that participants will be reimbursed the real costs of their transport fees up to a certain limit. Please do not buy travel tickets until your participation has been approved by the organisation. All the travel costs will be reimbursed the earliest 3 months after the end of the youth exchange.

Η διαμονή και διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι € 30 και καλύπτει μέρος των λειτουργικών και διοικητικών εξόδων της ΕΛΙΞ ως οργάνωσης αποστολής. H/O αρχηγός/επικεφαλής για την συγκεκριμένη ανταλλαγή νέων δε πληρώνει το ποσό συμμετοχής καθώς αναλαμβάνει μέρος του συντονισμού της ομάδας.
