Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "Be The Change 2: Conflict management for peaceful dialogue", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 4 άτομα ηλικίας 18+, που θα συμμετέχουν στo εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο, το οποίο διοργανώνεται από τις 13 έως τις 19 Νοεμβρίου 2017 στην πόλη του La Ferme du Fai στην Γαλλία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.
Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται με συγχρηματοδότηση από το Erasmus+ και θα συμμετέχουν εκτός της ΕΛΙΞ, της Association Solidarites Jeneusses της Γαλλίας, Proyecto Kieu της Ισπανίας, INEX-SDA της Τσεχίας και CONCORDIA UK και XCHANGE SCOTLAND του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.

What is the training about?
Following the Training Course “Be The change: a training about conflict resolution for intercultural dialogue” conducted by SJ in February 2016 and the positive outcomes and impact that the training had on the participants, we will be implementing a 2nd one, aiming at training youth workers and volunteers, with key elements of conflict management, by experiencing communication techniques and theatre approaches, in order to transform possible conflicts faced in youth projects and activities, into positive changes.
Who can participate?
Youth workers and volunteers leading and facilitating daily and collective activities during long or short term volunteering projects:
- Tutors and referents in charge of hosting and accompanying volunteers for long term projects
- Workcamp leaders
- Facilitators and people people working with intercultural groups
Place and timing:
The training will last 5 full days starting from the 14th to the 18th of November. The participants will arrive on Monday 13th of November and will leave on Sunday 19th of November. It will take place in the La Ferme du Fai, in one of Solidarités Jeunesses regional projects, in the South East of France, in the Alps mountains, near Veynes. The training will gather around 20 participants.
Aim and objectives:
The training aims to provide key elements of conflict management to IVS organisations members but also to foster intercultural dialogue in volunteering projects by having as a starting point that conflicts are opportunities for learning and positive change. More specifically,
- To learn about the different approaches and values of conflict: prevention, resolution, management and transformation.
- To understand the processes of conflict and the different ways to deal with it.
- To develop skills in mediation and facilitation for conflict resolution.
- To manage concepts of intercultural communication.
- To promote a constructive debate where participants will have the opportunity to share their views freely thanks to a peer to peer approach.
- To bring the participants to an active reflection on the topic through non formal education activities and experiential learning.
- To promote mutual understanding among the participants by encouraging them to approach intercultural dialogue with tolerance and open-minded attitude.
The Methodology:
The training methodology will rely on non-formal education. The different workshops will be built around the needs and knowledge of the participants.
In order to ensure participants attention, our efforts will focus on creative and innovative presentations. Therefore, the trainers will use methods such as mind-mapping, simulations, real life situations or photo-language methodology, etc. The training will also focus on the theatre of the oppressed method, a creative and collective tool to deal with conflicts.
These participatory and innovative methods allow to create real dynamics based on confidence and respect among participants. This methodology will also permit to deal with the thematic in plenary with due regard to personal approaches and situations.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
There will be 100% travel reimbursement up to the amount indicated in the table below. The amount will be reimbursed by Solidarités Jeunesses approximatively 2 months after the end of the training on receipt of all boarding passes and train/bus tickets. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have been confirmed by email as a participant on this event. Once confirmed you will receive a detailed infosheet and you should send your travel plans to Solidarités Jeunesses for approval before booking (in order to avoid any unnecessary problems with reimbursement due to financial regulations of the program).

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275 €(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 275€, you will receive all 275€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 200€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 200€.)
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.
