Μέσω της ΕΛΙΞ, μπορείς να δηλώσεις συμμετοχή στο νέο εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα στο Darmstadt Forest στη Γερμανία με το όνομα "YOUNG ACTIVISTS FOR PEACE AND CLIMATE JUSTICE", το οποίο διοργανώνεται από τη Γερμανική Οργάνωση ICJA και όπως προδίδει ο τίτλος του, επικεντρώνεται στην ανάπτυξη της ευαισθητοποίησης γύρω από την παγκόσμια ειρήνη, αλλά και τους κινδύνους που ελλοχεύουν από την κλιματική αλλαγή!
Μέσα από τις ιδιαίτερες δραστηριότητες στο πλαίσιο του Training Course, οι συμμετέχοντες θα μάθουν για την αξία των πράσινων πολιτικών, καθώς και το πως αυτές μπορούν να μετατραπούν σε πολιτικές και ακτιβιστικές πρωτοβουλίες. Ο κύριος στόχος είναι η ενδυνάμωση της πράσινης συνείδησης των νέων ανθρώπων, και η ευαισθητοποίηση για περιοχές με έλλειψη σχετικών πόρων, περιοχών που υφίστανται τις συνέπειες μίας κρίσης που δεν προκάλεσαν.
Αναζητούμε δύο (2) συμμετέχοντες, ηλικίας 18 ετών και άνω, για να λάβουν μέρος σε αυτό το ιδιαίτερο training course!

Global warming is a fundamental threat to all people on earth, but in different ways: The lifestyle of the rich people is the main cause of the greenhouse effect, poor people mainly in the global south suffer the most from the consequences, like drought, heat waves and floods. Young people in the global North and South, in particular those with fewer resources, are bearing the consequences of a climate crisis they did not cause.
The training will be a great opportunity for participants to learn about and share knowledge about the multiple effects of global warming. The participants will also get to know innovative methods on how to address climate justice. They will also learn how to develop and implement green policies. The ICYE Federation green policy could be an example. Last but not least the training will provide a space for establishing contacts, discuss and network with activists and political initiatives involved in the struggle for climate justice in Germany. The main aim is to enable youth workers and their organisations to contribute to this struggle by developing and running high quality youth activities which can motivate and empower young people to actively pursue the utopia of a green, inclusive and sustainable world.

The main focus of this training is the worldwide fight for climate justice. Together we want to look for positive role models and helpful competences to achieve a more peaceful and sustainable future for all of us.
The training will consist of the following modules:
- Workshops on understanding global warming e.g. "climatefresk" climatefresk.org/de-ch/
- Workshops on just and sustainable nutrition e.g. "Food Justice".
- Workshops with examples from Global Learning;
- Visit to the Rainforest Centre "Centre for Global Sustainability" www.regenwaldzentrum.de
- Workshops on creative events and campaigns on climate justice
- Learning from best practice: Excursions to initiatives in Darmstadt and Frankfurt that work for climate justice, e.g. fridays for future, students for future.

About 25 youth and young adults from Europe and neighbouring countries are invited to the training. Some experience in youth or non-formal political education and the possibility to implement activities within your own organisation/network is required. The training results should be widely promoted and used in your own work!
Conditions for participation

- Location: Jugendhof Bessunger Forst near Darmstadt
- Accommodation and food are included
- Participation fee: we try to adjust the fee to the purchasing power in the different countries
- Fee for participants from Germany, West and North - European countries: 60,-€ Fee for participants from South and East European countries: 30,-€
- Reimbursement of the travel expenses is calculated according to the flat rate of the ERASMUS + programme. We ask the participants to use sustainable means of transport.
This a professional development activity of the Erasmus+ Programme co-financed by the European Union for which ICJA has received the quality label.

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.
Αεροπορικά εισιτήρια μπορείτε να κλείσετε ΜΟΝΟ καθώς έχετε λάβει γραπτή επιβεβαίωση της συμμετοχής σας στο πρόγραμμα από την ΕΛΙΞ.
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος μέσω τραπεζικής κατάθεσης και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα αποδεικτικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι 275€ για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
