Η ΕΛΙΞ, είναι εταίρος του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος με τίτλο "Volunteering Made Easy", που διοργανώνεται από την οργάνωση Outward Bound Croatia της Κροατίας και αναζητά 3 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18+ προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα από 24 Ιουνίου έως 2 Ιουλίου.

Το σεμινάριο, απευθύνεται σε youth-workers που έχουν υλοποιήσει εθελοντικά προγράμματα στο παρελθόν ή θέλουν να μάθουν περισσότερα για την εθελοντική διαχείριση, ώστε να μπορούν στο μέλλον να ξεκινήσουν την υλοποίηση εθελοντικών έργων.

Ο εθελοντισμός είναι μια ουσιαστική πτυχή των περισσότερων μη κερδοσκοπικών οργανισμών, αλλά δεν είναι εύκολο να συντονιστεί αποτελεσματικά στην καθημερινή εργασία ενός οργανισμού η ενσωμάτωση εθελοντών, ειδικά αν προέρχονται από κάποιον άλλο χώρα. Για αυτό και στόχος του προγράμματος είναι η ενθάρρυνση των νέων να ανακαλύψουν και να αναπτύξουν τις δεξιότητες τους, ώστε να δημιουργήσουν ένα καλύτερο κόσμο για τον εαυτό τους και τους άλλους μέσω προκλητικών εμπειριών σε άγνωστο περιβάλλον.

Το σεμινάριο θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 24 Ιουνίου έως 2 Ιουλίου στο εκπαιδευτικό κέντρο Veliki Žitnik κοντά στη πόλη Gospić στην παραδοσιακή περιοχή Lika της Κροατίας.

Στο πρόγραμμα, που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+ και θα συμμετέχουν 21 άτομα από Κροατία, Ισπανία, Λιθουανία, Πορτογαλία, Ελλάδα, Λετονία και Γαλλία.

Volunteering made easy is a 7-day-training course for youth-workers in non-profit organizations who want to implement volunteering projects or have local/international volunteers already involved in their organizations’ work. Volunteering is an essential aspect of most non-profit organizations, but it’s not easy to efficiently coordinate and integrate volunteers, especially if they’re coming from another country, into an organization’s everyday work.

THE PARTICIPANT PROFILE

• age: 18+ and can communicate in English
• youth-workers who implement volunteering projects in their organizations OR want to learn about volunteer management so their organizations can start implementing volunteering projects
• the priority will be given to the participants facing fewer opportunities

OBJECTIVES

• Raise the capacity of youth-workers to design, develop, plan and implement high-quality volunteering projects in their organizations and communities
• Provide the experience of non-formal education to youth-workers and develop their facilitation skills
• Equip the youth-workers with tools and methods for efficient volunteer coordination, mentoring, support, and the facilitation of their learning process
• Develop an understanding of the differences of volunteering practices among European countries
• Create a handbook on volunteer management
• Provide tools and knowledge to reach out to youth with fewer opportunities encourage them to take part in international volunteering projects
• Build partnerships between involved organizations and create a base for collaboration in future volunteering projects

PRACTICAL INFO
Training dates: 25/06 - 01/07/2021
Travel days: 24/06 & 02/07/2021 

Venue: OBC Educational Center in Veliki Žitnik, a small village in the rural, montan region of Lika, Croatia. It's located 6km away from the nearest bigger city - Gospić.

Arrival: Thursday, 24/06/2021 in the afternoon/evening hours (from 14:00 to 22:00). On arrival day, dinner will be provided.
Departure: Friday, 02/07/2021. Breakfast will be provided on departure day.

The OBC Educational Center is fully equipped with 2 dormitory-type bedrooms (male and female), bathrooms, a kitchen, a common room and a big yard, surrounded by forest.

The nearest airports: Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Budapest, Ljubljana, and Belgrade There are regular bus and train lines to the meeting point - the town of Gospić. Info about travel options within Croatia: Buses from Zagreb and Croatian Railway.

As there is no public transport from Gospić to Veliki Žitnik, pick you up with the organization's car would be provided to the education center.

Travel proposals should be sent in advance of tickets purchases, in order to be confirmed.

Outward Bound Croatia is nonprofit organization that provides outdoor experiential learning courses. Our main field of activity is the organization and implementation of innovative outdoor courses for school children and youth, with special concern for youth with fewer opportunities. We believe in the power and intensity of learning and adventure in the outdoors – as a means of bringing out the best in our participants. Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται από τη διοργανώτρια οργάνωση στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα. Υποχρεωτική η συμμετοχή από την αρχή έως το τέλος του προγράμματος 25/06 - 01/07/2021
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case it will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής που καλύπτει μέρος των λειτουργικών και διοικητικών εξόδων της οργάνωσης ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.
