Η ΕΛΙΞ, συμμετέχει στο πλέγμα των δράσεων του προγράμματος "Young Activists for Peace and Dialogue".

Μέσω του προγράμματος αυτού θα υλοποιηθούν ένα εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο και μια ανταλλαγή νέων στις οποίες στελέχη και εθελοντές της οργάνωσής μας θα συμμετέχουν.

Σκοπός των δράσεων η προώθηση ενός αξιόλογου διαλόγου μεταξύ ανθρώπων διαφορετικών απόψεων και θρησκειών στον κόσμο. Ενόψει της αύξησης των θρησκευτικών δικαιολογημένων διακρίσεων και της βίας κατά των μελών της κοινωνίας που έχουν διαφορετική θρησκεία ή κοσμοθεωρία στις ευρωπαϊκές κοινωνίες, στόχος αυτού του έργου είναι η ενίσχυση των θεμελίων για ειρηνικές κοινότητες με την προώθηση του ειρηνικού διαλόγου μεταξύ των νέων της ΕΕ, την Τουρκία, το Ισραήλ / την Παλαιστίνη και την περιοχή του Καυκάσου.

Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος η δράση που θα υλοποιηθεί είναι ένα εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο που θα φιλοξενηθεί στο Hohensolms από τις 26/07/2017 έως τις 04/08/2017.

Η ΕΛΙΞ θα διαθέσει 2 θέσεις για εσάς που ενδιαφέρεστε για το θέμα αυτό (ηλικία 18+).

Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείτε με συγχρηματοδότηση από το Erasmus+ και συμμετέχουν εκτός της ΕΛΙΞ και της ICJA της Γερμανίας που έχει τον συντονισμό, οργανώσεις από το Αζερμπαϊτζάν, το Βέλγιο, την Γαλλία, την Γεωργία, την Ελλάδα, το Ισραήλ, την Παλαιστίνη, την Τουρκία, την Αγγλία και την Ρωσία.

Youth workers mobility program Jugendburg Hohensolms

Previous experience: You should have first experience in youth work or political education.

SUMMARY
The first of the two activities is an international training course in the youth center of Hohensolms, which brings together 26 youth workers and activists from 11 countries (Azerbaijan, Belgium, Germany, France, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Palestine, Russian Federation, Turkey, United Kingdom).
This training is designed for youth workers who would like to learn about ways and concepts to make young people participate as active citizens in the fight against rightwing propaganda, discrimination against Muslims and human rights violations against refugees and migrants.

Through a holistic pedagogical process and peace-oriented methodology, the training aims at promoting peaceful dialogue and appreciation of diversity to combat anti-Muslim tendencies and radicalization of young people in our societies. In this way we will foster the common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination. The project also emphasizes the importance of including young people in this struggle and process and to make their voice being heard.

Participants will learn about methods of peace education and non-violent conflict resolution in youth work with particular focus on dialogue between members of different religious or non-religious communities. They will have opportunities to develop similar strategies and activities for the youth work in their organizations/countries. They will learn and practice in the training programme and in leisure time how we can live peacefully together in a community. They will realize that each of us is part of a world community with different worldviews, religions, languages, stories and perceptions which can only survive on the path of peace and dialogue.

The activities in detail
The conceptual basis for the training is the Peace Educational Training “Friedensstifter” (“Young people becoming agents of peace”). This part of the training lasts 4 days and contains multiple activities to learn about basic skills to deal with violence and conflict at personal level. In addition, you as participants will be able to learn about methods from training concepts on anti-discrimination and the appreciation of cultural diversity. Another important activity of 3 days are workshops to deal with different topics related to peace in an artistic way (theater, video, art, music, etc.).

Further activities are:
- An excursion to the Anne Frank Haus in Frankfurt, an educational institution offering numerous innovative workshops and activities on racism, right-wing extremism, anti-Semitism and discrimination.
- To get to know and discuss with the local representative of the "Council of Religions" , an institution in which religious leaders from about 6 different religions are working together.

Venue of the training
Venue will be Jugendburg Hohensolms (“Youth castle Hohensolms”), a big medieval castle which offers a great ambient for youth meetings and activities. Hohensolms is situated about 90 kilometers in the north of Frankfurt and can be reached with local train and bus in approx. 2 hours.
The projects “Young Activists for Peace”

ICJA, has been organizing annual peace-educational youth meetings and trainings since 2015, in which young people and youth workers are able to exchange information on current crises and problems within Europe and / or neighboring regions, and to work on topics relevant to them through interactive, participatory methods of non-formal learning. "Young Activists for Peace" stands for: - The international commitment of young people in solidarity with others in Europe and beyond - The intensive encounter and sharing of youths of different social and cultural origin and world views. - The mediation of peace pedagogical basic competences certified trainers * according to the pedagogical concept “Young people becoming agents of peace". - Meetings and joint activities with target groups and stakeholders of the chosen topic. - Workshops with committed activists and excursions to civil society initiatives. - Artistic workshops (theater, video, performing arts,...) for dealing creatively the respective topics and to reach more young people with these topics.

Participation fee for ICJA (will be deducted from travel reimbursement) : 40 Euro

Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 260€, you will receive all 260€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 60€.
