Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "Eldorado-Welcome Refugees", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 5 άτομα ηλικίας 16-25 χρονών που θα συμμετέχουν στην ανταλλαγή νέων που διοργανώνεται από τις 22 Αυγούστου έως τις 3 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016 στο Marche-en-Famenne του Βελγίου και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.

Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η ανταλλαγή εμπειριών και καλών πρακτικών στο θέμα των προσφύγων. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να επισκεφθούν διάφορες δομές που εξυπηρετούν μετανάστες, πρόσφυγες και άτομα που αιτούνται άσυλο. Όλα αυτά μέσα από το εργαλεία που δίνει η μη τυπική μάθηση αλλά και η καλλιτεχνική έκφραση.

Where? In Marche-en-Famenne, Belgium.

When? From 22nd August till 3rd September 2016 (travel days included).

Who? Twenty five participants from 16 till 25 years old, coming from 5 different countries: Belgium (CBB), Germany (ICJA), Turkey (Gençtur), Greece (Elix) and Serbia (YRS).

The participants group will be socially and culturally heterogeneous and will include young asylum seekers.

There will be one leader and four participants per group; an artistic leader will facilitate the artistic workshops.

To do what?
The purpose of this project is to encourage participants to express their opinion on the topic of refugees’ crisis and to give their point of view on how each of us can be helpful to facilitate the integration of asylum seekers in our society.

During the youth exchange, participants will have the opportunity to go on cultural visits linked with the topic of the project.

Furthermore, through visual arts methods, photography and writing, some techniques usually used when writing a travel diary, we will try to valorise the sense of creativity of participants.

For many years CBB have been building partnerships with reception centers for asylum seekers through different kinds of activities, such as international work camps and weekend work camps. Moreover some young asylum seekers take part more and more often to collective activities we develop, and especially to youth exchanges.

Given that experience and the current migration crisis, we found very important to tackle this topic deeper by organizing a youth exchange this summer!

This YE should enable young people to initiate a collective and personal reflection about the importance of promoting the values of citizenship and intercultural dialogue.

Through the use of non-formal education and artistic methods, we hope participants will develop their critical mind and learn about how the refugees’ topic is treated in different countries and in Europe in general.

Moore deeply, the objectives of the project are:

- Allow participants to get a better understanding of refugees’ situation and about the differents actors involved in this topic on local, regional and international level ;
- Allow youngsters to get open-minded and develop their self-confidence ;
through artistic workshops ;
- Achieve an artistic production that will deliver a collective message shared by the participants ;
- Live a human experience in a mixed group and discover aspects of other cultures.

Activities? The program has been set up with the aim of respecting a process that permits to each participant to be an ACTOR of his project.

This process highlights 3 main axes:

- Community life: the project activities have to permit to organize participative management in daily tasks and to create a group dynamic allowing exchanges and collaboration between participants.
- Theme appropriation: the project topic will be introduced by field visits, non-formal education workshops, meetings with different people with specific expertise on refugees’ issue and artistic workshops. Debates and workshops will permit to compare participants’ points of view and will allow them to progress on learning and acquiring new knowledges.
- Collective creation: along this youth exchange, participants will be involved in artistic workshops focused on the project theme. Thanks to the project artistic production, which will be publicly shown in the city of Marche-en-Famenne, participants will deliver their shared and collective message to local people and youngsters.

Example of activities:

- Field visit in a reception center located in Marche-en-Famenne region and workshops with asylum seekers ;
- Workshop on migration and asylum done by red cross awareness raising service (department for asylum seekers reception);
- Meeting with an expert from regional center for integration (long-term view) ;
- Meeting with local associations who develop projects and activities with asylum seekers ;
- Artistic workshops ;
- Cooperation activities.

Accommodation and food: In Marche, the participants will be accommodated in a former boarding school and will share double or triple bedrooms. They will have a kitchen, a big meeting room where they can also have their meals. There is also an outdoor terrace.

A budget for food will be given to the leaders and meals will be prepared according to a participatory management style.

This project is brilliant because it is a great opportunity to sensitize youngsters to the refugees’ topic, to promote among them non-formal education and to improve their awareness of their place in society as active citizens.

This project is coming from the meeting of two levels of action:
- The local level: this youth exchange has been set up together with and by three youngsters remarkably involved in CBB organization and concerned with the refugees’ issue.
- The international level: at the same time, ICJA sets up a very ambitious project involving many partners in which CBB project was well fitting Young Activists for Peace.

Having observed the current refugees’ emergency situation in the European context, actors at both local and international levels have decided to set up this project in order to use their animation skills and share their experiences and ideas with other young people.

Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος των μετακινήσεων κάθε συμμετέχοντα στο πρόγραμμα αυτό επιδοτείται μέχρι του ποσού των 170€(*), σύμφωνα με τους όρους και τους κανόνες του Erasmus+. Οι συμμετέχοντες λαμβάνουν την επιδότηση αυτή μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…).
(*: Επεξήγηση: αν λοιπόν το συνολικό κόστος των εισιτηρίων σου, αεροπορικά, μετρό, λεωφορεία, κλπ (όχι ΤΑΞΙ) φτάσει τα 155€ τότε θα λάβεις 155€ άρα θα επιδοτηθεί το 100% του κόστους των μετακινήσεων σου. Αν το συνολικό κόστος φτάσει τα 200€ τότε θα λάβεις το μέγιστο της επιδότησης τα 170€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας θα πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Ιταλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.

Προσοχή!!! οι συμμετέχοντες που θα επιλεγούν και δεν έχουν συμπληρώσει το 18 έτος της ηλικίας τους θα πρέπει να αποστείλουν υπογεγραμμένη βεβαίωση από τους γονέων/κηδεμόνες τους για την τυπική άδεια που είναι αναγκαία για την συμμετοχή τους στο πρόγραμμα αυτό.
