Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος με τίτλο "Y.A.M. - Youth Ambassadors for Mobility", που φιλοξενείται από την οργάνωση Concordia, αναζητά 2 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18+ προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 9 έως τις 15 Απρίλιου 2018 στην Γαλλία στην πόλη Chamalières.

Background of the project
"Y.A.M. Youth Ambassadors for Mobility" is a two-year European project aiming to train youth professionals about the challenges of international mobility and tackle the role of volunteering as social and professional change maker. This project financed by Erasmus+ will implement several activities.

This training course is the third step of the project. During 6 days the future tutors coming from France and any of the partner countries, will tackle the following issues: the role of the tutor, the follow-up of the volunteers, preparation before during and after the mobility, administrative framework of Erasmus+, exchange of good practices and sustainability of the project.

Methodology
The training will be mainly based on non-formal learning methods: dynamic debates, simulations and role-play workshops. Participants will have an active role through the whole learning process, they will be encouraged to give their opinions, reflect in small groups and provide inputs to the different workshops. Please bear in mind that the main language will be English.

Objectives of the training course
- To understand what is a tutor and his/her role with volunteers
- To adapt the follow-up tools taking into account the reinforced mentorship before, during and after the mobility (pre-departure training, intercultural definition, linguistic support, to boost volunteer’s commitment etc.)
- To train tutors about how to support volunteers regarding: personal projects, goals of the volunteering service, evaluation, how to highlight the skills gained during the mobility, Youthpass key competences etc.
- To understand the procedure and budget of a volunteering project (accreditation, PIC code, how to write a report)
- To exchange good practices and reflect on the sustainability of volunteering projects
- To create local and international synergies around a volunteering project

Number of participants
20 in total: 10 international and 10 local. Each partner organization is invited to send at least one or two representatives

Trainers
This training course will be leaded by Audrey Perron and Monica Garcia Porto. Both trainers have experience in mentoring EVS, they implement on-arrival and mid-term evaluations organized by the French National Agency.

Audrey has a long experience in mentoring short term volunteers, young people with fewer opportunities and works on a regular basis with different stakeholders in order to develop new partnerships and volunteering activities. Monica has been working with EVS since 2013 and is actively involved in the Access for All working group of the Alliance focused on inclusion and accessibility.

Practical conditions
• Living conditions: accommodation and food will be provided by Concordia. Participants will stay in a high school dormitory with all the facilities.
• Insurance: each participant must have their own travel insurance.
• Infosheet with all the practical information will be provided after the confirmation of participation.

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…).
Το 75% των πραγματικών δαπανών θα επιστραφεί μέχρι μέγιστο ποσό 275 € (εισιτήρια επιστροφής). Για παράδειγμα, εάν το κόστος ταξιδιού είναι 300 €, η Concordia θα αποζημιώσει το 75% των 275 € και επομένως 206,25 €. Οι κάρτες επιβίβασης πρέπει να φυλάσσονται και να παραδίδονται στο Concordia στο τέλος του κύκλου εκπαίδευσης. Οι οργανώσεις αποστολής θα είναι υπεύθυνες να συλλέξουν και να στείλουν στην Concordia όλες τις απαιτούμενες πληροφορίες και κάρτες επιβίβασης των αντιπροσώπων τους.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.
