Μέσω της ΕΛΙΞ μπορείς να δηλώσεις συμμετοχή στο καινούριο Πρόγραμμα Ανταλλαγής Νέων "Sustainable lifestyles through sport and outdoor activities", του οποίου Φορέας Υλοποίησης είναι η Οργάνωση Associazione InformaGiovanni και που θα λάβει χώρα στην κοινότητα Filaga της Σικελίας στην Ιταλία, περίπου μία και μισή ώρα έξω από την πόλη του Παλέρμο. Συμμετέχοντας στο πρόγραμμα, θα έχετε την ευκαιρία να αναπτύξετε πτυχές της προσωπικότητας σας και χρήσιμες δεξιότητες, μέσα σε ένα ιδιαίτερο διαπολιτισμικό πλαίσιο.
Το Project προωθεί την προσαρμογή σε σύγχρονα και πιο βιώσιμα σε σχέση με το παρελθόν lifestyles, έχοντας στο προσκήνιο τις αθλητικές δραστηριότητες, την ευαισθητοποίηση για την κλιματική αλλαγή, την αγροτική δραστηριότητα, καθώς και την πολυπολιτισμική ενσωμάτωση. Οι δράσεις του Project βασίζονται σε χειρωνακτική εργασία, μεθόδους μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης κλπ. Επιμέρους καθημερινές δραστηριότητες περιλαμβάνουν : καθαρισμός, μαγειρική, εργασίες διαμεσολάβησης κλπ.
Αναζητούμε πέντε (5) συμμετέχοντες, από 14 έως 17 ετών και έναν (1) leader, από 23 ετών και άνω, ώστε να συμμετέχουν σε αυτή την ιδιαίτερη Ανταλλαγή Νέων (Youth Exchange)!

In the frame of the InformaGiovani-KA1 accreditation, the Youth Exchange "Sustainable lifestyles through sport and outdoor activities" will offer an opportunity to young people from 14 to 17 years old to grow in an international and intercultural context thus to develop and strengthen skills useful in life. The main themes of the project are promoting sustainable lifestyles through sport and outdoor activities, sensitize about climate change, developing rural area through local manual activities, intercultural exchange and inclusion.
Associazione InformaGiovani (www.informa-giovani.net) is a non-profit organisation active since 2001 in Palermo (Italy) in the youth sector. It promotes the right to information, local and international volunteering and youth mobility with a focus on young people with fewer opportunities. Within the framework of European programmes, we organise trainings, seminars, youth exchanges, etc. on interculturality, inclusion, volunteering, active participation and media literacy through nonformal education. We regularly involves young people in Erasmus+ and ESC volunteer projects as a coordinating and supporting organisation. We also run local international workcamps to promote tolerance, diversity and cultural understanding. Since 2014 we coordinate an informal European network supported by Erasmus+, which now has 16 organisations in 14 European countries. We are also Eurodesk Centre in Palermo since 2022.
The activity will be hosted by the ODV Solidarity Association of Filaga (Sicily) and its inhabitants involved in the Terr@Terra project which aims to enhance the historical-cultural-naturalistic environment of the Monti Sicani territory through the creation of a hostel managed by including young people with mild physical or mental disabilities. The hostel is used to host backpackers, national and international groups.
The Youth Exchange will be held in FILAGA, a small town in province on Palermo, Sicily,IT from 08/08/2023 to 17/08/2023. It will gather 25 participants from IT, GR, ES, MK. This project will involve alsoparticipants facing economical and geographical difficulties.

Age and profile of participants
Young people aged between 14 and 17 years old, interested in the topic of the YE, in having an international experience, young people at their first international exchange are welcome. It will be also involved participants coming from disadvantaged social contexts, young people with economic difficulties and from rural areas, migrant.
Age and profile of leaders
A trusted person with previous experiences within the sending organization in the implementation of youth exchanges as the role of leader, interested in intercultural activities, and be able to communicate in English and experiences in leading groups of teenagers. Age: 23+
Language:
The activities will be organised in English. About participants, a basic knowledge of English is enough, leaders have to be able to communicate in the foreign language for supporiting the organisation and the mediation among participants.
Insurance:
Accident and third liability insurance is provided by InformaGiovani.
The local community of Filaga and their local people involved in the project Terr@Terra will be the host. The "Terr@Terra" project intends to transform these places of Sicily into growth opportunities for those who have chosen to live there and for anyone who wants to discover and love Sicily. The project was born from this idea, with the aim of enhancing the naturalistic-environmental, historical-cultural, artistic, artisanal, food and wine and folkloristic resources of the Sicani territory, through the activation of educational, promotion and territorial animation actions, as well as with paths and services integrated in a system of sustainable use of the territory, starting from the bottom, "earth to earth" precisely, to favor processes of social infrastructure, youth social employment and socio-labor inclusion of disadvantaged people. Specifically, they intend to strengthen educational paths aimed at the social participation ofpeople within a perspective of promotion of local culture, preservation of local traditions and knowledge, enhancement of the environment, at the service of the community, of nature and social solidarity.

The group will be housed in a hostel located in the mountain village of Filaga, Sicily.
The building, formerly used as a school, is part of a land redevelopment project carried out by a group of local activists as part of the "TerraTerra" project. Participants will stay in rooms equipped with bunk beds shared with six to eight people. Bathrooms and showers are limited and will be shared on a gender basis. Wi-Fi is available in the facility. The building was used to be a school and now is equipped as very basic hostel, bathrooms and showers are limited and will be shared according to gender. Food will be prepared by participant and by local people and members of Terr@Terra (a few workers can have light mental or physical disability). Participants divided in shifts will help in arranging the table before and after meals, cleaning the dining room, bedrooms and common space. Wi-fi is available in the accommodation.
Activities will be based on non-formal methodologies, work in group, sports, role-playing games, manual activities which will facilitate group dynamics, learning, sharing experiences and the development of new skills. Participants will contribute in daily activities such as: cleaning, arranging, cooking, media tasks, and so on.

Συνολικό ποσό συμμετοχής: 100 ευρώ. Το κόστος συμμετοχής καλύπτει μέρος των λειτουργικών και διοικητικών εξόδων της οργάνωσης ΕΛΙΞ και κατατίθεται με την επιβεβαίωση της συμμέτοχής σας.
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.
Τα αεροπορικά εισιτήρια μπορείτε να κλείστε ΜΟΝΟ καθώς έχετε λάβει γραπτή επιβεβαίωση της συμμετοχής σας στο πρόγραμμα από την ΕΛΙΞ.
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος μέσω τραπεζικής κατάθεσης και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα αποδεικτικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι 275€ για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.

Οι συμμετέχοντες καλούνται να συμπληρώσουν την ατομική αξιολόγηση (EU Survey) μετά από το πέρας του προγράμματος.
