Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος, αναζητά 2 άτομα άνω των 18 χρονών, που επιθυμούν να συμμετέχουν στο Εκπαιδευτικό Σεμινάριο, για την κοινωνική ένταξη και την πολιτιστική ποικιλία, οικονομικών μεταναστών αλλά και ανθρώπων σε περιοχών με συγκρούσεις που διοργανώνεται από τις 21 μέχρι 29 Οκτωβρίου 2014 στο Zadar, στην Κροατία.
Στο Τraining course θα συμμετέχουν συνολικά 31 νέοι από 11 χώρες (Κροατία, Ιταλία, Λετονία, Τουρκία, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, Σλοβενία, Ελλάδα, Βουλγαρία, Βέλγιο, Ουγγαρία και Ρουμανία).
Λίγα λόγια για το πρόγραμμα:
AIM OF THE PROJECT: Inclusion and acceptance of diversity are important and present topics in everyday life of youth in Europe, especially after conflicts’ and economic migrations that happened recently. Due to migrations all over Europe, we live in situations where even if migrants have been somehow integrated in society, interethnic and other differences among people cause prejudice/tensions and exclusion in everyday life.
This training course targets youth workers who will further take action in the field of social inclusion and cultural diversity, whether through new initiatives or enhanced activities, and will increase the opportunity for ALL to access and participate in youth work and youth projects.
Objectives of the project:
- Sharing experience - realities and activities - regarding inclusion and diversity in our communities and countries
- Understanding different aspects of youth work and inclusion/diversity
- Exploring concepts of identity and its development as starting point to understanding inclusion/diversity around us
- Increasing empathy with different aspects of discrimination/exclusion and discussing how to deal with challenging situations
- Exploring existing policies on Fundamental Rights in Europe and understanding their connection and implications to youth work for inclusion/diversity
- Sharing youth work tools/methods for achieving greater inclusion in our communities
- Developing strategies for local and European (level) activities of youth work for promotion of inclusion/diversity
- Presenting useful EU and CoE resources and funding programmes to encourage European cooperation among partners for inclusion (projects which will focus on organising youth exchanges which will include second generation immigrant youngsters and youth from other cultural minorities according to the realities and needs in our local communities).
PARTICIPANTS: 2 participants (18+) per organization, able to communicate in English, they need to be youth workers or youth leaders who are willing to apply and multiply the knowledge received on this training course and willing to share the new knowledge with the members of their organization once they get back
ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΑ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΑ:
70% of travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport and preferably for the return tickets. You will be reimbursed 70% of your travel costs (for all the original tickets and ways of travel that are plane, bus, train or ferry). There is a possibility that you will be reimbursed in higher percentage but it depends on how much will other participants spend on their tickets.
Το ποσό συμμετοχής για το πρόγραμμα είναι 100€.
Η Διαμονή (Youth Hostel Zadar στην πόλη Zadar) και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
