Η ΕΛΙΞ σας προτείνει το σεμινάριο "ACT – Active Citizens of Today!" στην Σικελία της Ιταλίας.

Η ΕΛΙΞ αναζητά 2 νέες/ους που δραστηριοποιούνται ή έχουν συμμετάσχει σε προγράμματα για νέους, για να συμμετέχουν στο Σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται στο Nicolosi της Σικελίας από τις 3 έως τις 11 Δεκεμβρίου 2013.

Στόχος του σεμιναρίου είναι να υποστηρίξει και να εκπαιδεύσει τους συμμετέχοντες ώστε να βελτιωθεί η ποιότητα των προγραμμάτων ενδυνάμωσης της ταυτότητας των Ευρωπαίων πολιτών.

Θα συμμετέχουν 40 νέες και νέοι από 20 χώρες, Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Montenegro, FYR of Macedonia, Netherlands, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Kosovo,. Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Croatia and Estonia.

Λίγα λόγια για το πρόγραμμα:
The project will be held in Nicolosi (on the Etna Volcano) – Sicily (IT) from  03rd to 11th  December 2013 (travel days included) and will involve 40 participants coming from 20 different countries: Italy, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia, Netherlands, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Kosovo,. Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Croatia and Estonia. Each organization will join in with 2 participants. Food and accommodation will be covered 100% from the project, while 70% of travel costs will be reimbursed. A participation fee is required (20 Euros will be taken from the travel reimbursement).

"ACT – Active Citizen of Today!" is a training course that aims to support the professional development of young trainers and to raise the quality of their projects concerning citizenship. We will approach the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. The training course uses methods of experiential learning as role plays, simulations and drama methods and group sharing methods as small and large group discussions. Together, we will be working out and improving ' method toolkit' on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond. All over mission of the training course is to find the ways how to make the issue of citizenship attractive to the youth and their responsibility in this process. ACT is designed to take place in Nicolosi – (in the east coast of Sicily, on the Etna Volcano) having the length of 9 days (December, 3rd - 11th 2013) and 40 participants from 20 different countries.

Please bear in mind that the arrival airport must be only Catania Fontanarossa (CTA), because Palermo and Trapani airports are too far from the venue of the project.

Aim:
ACT is a training course that aims to support the professional development of young trainers and to raise the quality of their projects concerning (European) citizenship.

Objectives
- pointing out the connection between citizenship, responsibility for one‘s immediate environment and society and active participation,
- experiencing, discussing and sharing historical and recent understandings of citizenship and its implications for participation,
- approaching different levels of citizenship (local – national – international/European),
- sharing different visions and understandings of citizenship,
- reflecting on the notion of European identity and its underlying values (democracy, tolerance, plurality, human rights),
- experiencing European citizenship in praxis by simulations, cases and method development.

Target group:
- youth trainers/workers
- youth trainers/workers who are actively working with young people as a professional or on the voluntary basis
- participants that have an active attitude!
- aged 18 - ?  (preferebly up to 30)

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από του διοργανωτές. Οι συμμετέχοντες θα μείνουν στο ξενοδοχείο http://www.hotel-biancaneve.com/en_index.php

Το 70% του κόστους μετακινήσεων επιστρέφει στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Το ποσό αυτό σύμφωνα με του όρους των προγραμμάτων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης δεν μπορεί να ξεπερνά ένα άνω όριο που ορίζετε σε κάθε πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 80€. 20€ πληρώνετε προς στην Ιταλική οργάνωση (όπως αναφέρεται παραπάνω).
