Γίνε εθελοντής με το πρόγραμμα ESC στο Saint Caprais de Bordeaux της Γαλλίας!
Η ΕΛΙΞ προτείνει ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον συχρηματοδοτούμενο πρόγραμμα του Ευρωπαϊκού Σώματος Αλληλεγγύης (ESC) μεγάλης διάρκειας που συντονίζει η γαλλική οργάνωση Concordia.
Το πρόγραμμα θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην πόλη Saint Caprais de Bordeaux (20 χιλιόμετρα μακριά από το Bordeaux). Το πρόγραμμα ξεκινάει τον Ιανουάριο 2022 και τελειώνει τον Αύγουστο του ίδιου έτους.
Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η υποστήριξη ατόμων με νοητική αναπηρία έτσι ώστε να διατηρήσουν ναι να αποκαταστήσουν τους κοινωνικούς δεσμούς τους.
Προθεσμία υποβολής αιτήσεων: ΑΜΕΣΑ, οι αιτήσεις του προγράμματος κλείνουν 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2021.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The main task of the volunteer will be to work with mentally disabled people who live on their own in order to break their cycle of loneliness, restoring/maintaining social links and helping them to regain their self-confidence.
In particular the volunteer will:
- Help out the social worker
- Organize activities with the patients about the country or the passion of the volunteer (cooking, relaxation, helping them to write the newsletter of the association Entracte, painting, acting...)
- Participate in outdoor activities with them
- Participate in the weekly meeting with the team
The detailed activities will be proposed by the volunteer according to his/her skills and interests and with the support of the pedagogical team. The project will also allow the volunteer to know and develop new pedagogical techniques in terms of work with mentally disabled people.
PROJECT DATES From January 2022 to August 2022
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Accommodation: The volunteer will be accommodated in an own room in the house of Concordia, next to the offices of the association, with 4 or 5 other volunteers. The volunteers will have to adopt a collective life which means cook and eat together, propose activities in group and participate in the associative events that we organize once a month in the house of the volunteers.
The pocket money will be (5€ per day) and money for food (7,50€ per day)

- Basics knowledge in French or motivation to learn French
- Motivation to work with children and teenagers
- Be flexible and open to meet/live with new people, to think outside of the box
- Cultural, artistic or sport skills are more than welcome
- Be willing to develop a personal project
- Motivation to discover the associative world and all its activities
- Be active and participative
- Driving License
- Availability to start in January 2022 to August 2022
