Καναδάς
0) CJ-2001H, INTERGENERATIONNEL PROJECT, Montreal, SOCI MANU, 23/02/20 - 03/03/20, 18-30. (update 3/11/19)
In this interesting project, you will support the hosting organization in revitalizing the so called ‘Quartier des Générations’, an innovative and community-oriented seniors’ residence, by doing landscaping and building equipment. You will also participate in many social events alongside the elderly. You will be in the Ahuntsic neighbourhood in the north of Montreal, one of the city’s hidden treasures. Bordered by the Riviere des Prairies, it has many attractions, such as the magnificent Ele-de-la-Visitation Nature Park and the Promenade Fleury, which attract outdoor enthusiasts as well as gourmets.

1) ALLI01, LAPLAND WINTER 2020, Inari, ENVI, 13/01/20 - 24/01/20, 18-99.
If you like cold temperatures and you are ready to work outdoors in a breathtaking nature, have a look at this fantastic project where you will support a local youth center, by helping in constructing a snowy obstacle course and a tour ice skating track on the Lake Muddus. In your freetime you will have the opportunity to experience wonderful activities, such as aurora hunting, going to the sauna, skiing, snowshoeing and sightseeing around, for instance at the reindeer farm or the Sami museum. You will be in a unique environment characterized by arctic nature and three Lappish cultures, and you will be close to the Arctic Ocean in Norway and Russia, amidst incredible lake sceneries on the shores of Lake.

1_b) ALLI02, WINTERTIME 2020, Punkaharju, EDU CULT, 16/02/20 - 28/02/20, 18-99, extra fee 190 euro. (update 3/11/19)
If you participate in this project you will work with seasonal tasks indoors and outdoors, helping to maintain the surroundings of a school situated in a location of superb natural beauty, right on the magnificent Punkaharju ridge surrounded on both sides by lakes in eastern Finland. The area offers excellent opportunities for nature and outdoor activities. You will also have the opportunity to attend some Finnish language and culture lessons, do excursions to local sights, try sauna and other typical Finnish winter activities.

2) ALLI26, NEW YEAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LAKES, Savonlinna, EDU CULT, 27/12/19- 05/01/20, 18-99, extra fee 150 euro.
This amazing workcamp will give you the opportunity to do voluntary work, but also to relax, while being immersed in the nature after hectic Christmas time, and getting to know Finnish culture. The host organization IKKO is a modern, non-political and non-religious folk high school offering both general and vocational education for Finnish and international students and groups throughout the year. They also host special target groups, such as students with special needs, as well as young asylum seekers. The school surroundings need maintaining, so volunteers will work with seasonal tasks indoors and outdoors; they will also have the opportunity to join the preparations for school New Year festivities. 3) EST MTV 06, IN DOWN TOWN, Tallinn, MTV (mid_term), KIDS, 12/11/19 - 12/02/20, 18-30, extra fee 150 euro.
If you are available for two months and you like the idea of living in Tallinn and working with kids and teenagers, read more about this wonderful project which is an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with young Estonians and to experience local life. You will participate in many different activities, such as assisting teens and helping them with ideas for their educational projects; developing workshops; organizing group discussions, excursions, informal study visits, tours, picnics, holiday events, and some special events for the school’s students, among other tasks. As the project takes place in the capital, you will have the opportunity to experience Tallinn and to go sightseeing and to museums, festivals, concerts, live music, etc.

4) EST MTV 07, ALLIKSAARE FARM AUTUMN, Käina, MTV (mid_term), ANIM, 12/11/19 - 10/02/20, 18-60.
This lovely project is perfect for people who love animals and are interested in experiencing life in Alliksaare Farm, an organic farm which promotes sustainable lifestyle. Indeed, volunteers will be in daily contact with animals, for example by preparing food for cows and taking care of, train and ride horses. Work will mainly be outdoors and you will be in Hiiumaa, the second largest Estonian island, famous for its many historical and natural sights and for its kind people, known for their hospitality and good sense of humor. 5) VAP UK-08, DULWICH CHRISTMAS WORKCAMP, LONDON, ENVI, 07/12/19 - 17/12/19, 18-99, extra fee 130 GBP.
If you participate in this workcamp, you will spend 10 days in South London, but it won’t feel as if you are in a city: volunteers will stay at a Scout Centre in the midst of woodland with no houses in sight! Indeed, Dulwich is a pleasant, quiet corner of London. Together with other international volunteers, you will work on different environmental projects in various beautiful parks, such as Dulwich Park and Belair Park. Furthermore, visits to local projects of interest will be organized and there will be a free weekend when there will be a chance to visit London! 6) RU-SOD 7.1, WE ARE DIFFERENT BUT WE ARE TOGETHER, KIDS, 02/01/2020 – 08/01/2020, 17-99. In this lovely workcamp you will support a recreation center located not far from Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash republic. You will work together with local volunteers, by organizing cultural and educational activities for local school kids aged 8-16 years old.
In particular, you will implement intercultural and educational workshops on your country, ecology, water resources, human rights, antiracism, etc.
You will teach kids foreign languages by playing games, singing songs or through conversation;
organize sport activities, strategic games, shows and handicrafts; and you will play with kids snowball fights and many other games, while enjoying Russian winter.
You will live in the recreation center, in a heated brick house.
