Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος “Food For Thought: Classed and Gendered Consumption” που φιλοξενεί η οργάνωση NuorisoWork, έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς 2 θέσεις και αναζητά άτομα (άνω των 18 χρονών) που επιθυμούν να συμμετέχουν στο Εκπαιδευτικό Σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται στο Tenala της Φινλανδίας, από τις 26/07 ως τις 02/08/2015.

Στο training course θα συμμετέχουν 24 άτομα από 12 χώρες της Ευρώπης: Αλβανία, Βόσνια και Ερζεγοβίνη, Ελλάδα, Φινλανδία, Γερμανία, Κροατία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Μαυροβούνιο, Πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβική Δημοκρατία της Μακεδονίας, Ουγγαρία και Σερβία.

Λίγα λόγια για το πρόγραμμα:
Background: Our daily consumer choices affect not only our own lives and wellbeing but the people and the world around us as well. In many countries the market for ethically and sustainably produced food products has grown, and the same issues have gained greater visibility for example in the clothing industry. At the same time our gender and class has an impact on our consumer choices, affecting both our personal health and ecological footprint. What is this all about and how does it actually affect us?

Description: Class and gender are concepts that can be perceived as abstract and hard to grasp but both have a big impact on our lives and the choices we make – and feel we can make. Why is it more likely that you’re vegetarian if you’re a woman, live in an urban area or have a high level of education? During the training course we will start from the basics and discuss gender norms around masculinity, femininity and heteronormativity, how we can understand class, and ethical and ecological aspects of consumption. We will combine theory with practice by discussing the norms that affect us as consumers and the importance of making informed choices, while actually practicing these choices in sustainable cooking classes.

Aim: To promote responsible citizenship by raising awareness of the intersection between gender, class and food consumption and by practicing it in the kitchen.

Objectives:
- To give an introduction to the social construction of gender and how class and gender intersect.
- To give an introduction to sustainable food production and consumption and its societal benefits.
- To give an introduction to how gender and class affect consumption.
- To initiate a change in attitudes towards consumption as it relates to gender, class and sustainability.
- To develop life skills, including cooking and sharing responsibilities among members of a household (short-term or long-term) with particular attention given to gender norms and class differences as they apply to divisions of labour.
- To promote healthy living by promoting a plant-based diet among young people.

Target group: volunteers, organizations members and youth workers who are interested to learn more about two central topics of the training course
 
ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΑ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΑ:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
 
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 360€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα. 
*(It means that if you have a budget of 360€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 400€ with a budget of 360€, we will reimburse you up to 360€.)
 
Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.
