Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος που φιλοξενεί η οργάνωση Concordia, αναζητά 3 άτομα 18+, που επιθυμούν να συμμετέχουν στο Εκπαιδευτικό Σεμινάριο με θέμα "Sensitive approach of gender in international voluntary service".

Το πρόγραμμα διοργανώνεται από τις 21 μέχρι τις 28 Σεπτεμβρίου 2014 στην La Ferté-Sous-Jouarre, In Ile-de-France (60 χλμ. από το Παρίσι) στην Γαλλία.

Στο Τraining course θα συμμετέχουν συνολικά 27 συμμετέχοντες από 8 χώρες: Γαλλία, Ελλάδα, Εσθονία, Ισλανδία, Ισπανία, Λευκορωσία, Πορτογαλία, και Ουκρανία.

Λίγα λόγια για την οργάνωση φιλοξενίας: Concordia is a non-profit organization founded in 1950 by English, German and French youngsters. Their aim was to promote new values of tolerance and peace after the Second World War by organizing international work camps of young volunteers.

Since its beginnings Concordia has kept the same approach by bringing together young people from more than 60 different countries. At present in France, in addition to its Paris head office, Concordia is represented by 8 regional delegations: Aquitaine, Auvergne, Ile-de-France, Picardy/Nord Pas de Calais, Normandy/Maine, South South-West, Rhone-Alps and Brittany. Concordia also counts 1800 members, more than 28 employees and 200 coordinators.

Necessary prerequisites:
The participants must be aged from 18 years old to 30 years old. The participants will be youth workers, volunteers or active members of youth organizations. They have to be interested in the thematic of this study session and/or have already had a previous experience in the fields of gender and gender equality.

Each group of participants may be at best mixed of men and women.

The participants will have to bring internal documents of their organization such as: the charter of the organization, the associative projects, and communication materials with photos if possible…

Objective of the study session:
This training aims at reinforcing voluntary service organizations’ capacities to develop and promote gender equality sensitivity in European volunteering and international work camps.

The final goal of this study session is for the participants to produce a gender awareness-raising tool and find a way to introduce it in their organization.

Methodology of the study session:
The selected methodology is active and participative; it will include the whole time the participants in the sharing of findings, the joint construction of answers and sometimes in the joint construction of the pedagogy itself. This is why the methods which will be used will alternate theoretical times and fun challenges (games, role-play situations, etc…).

This methodology, based on the reinforcement of non-formal education values, training sessions, workshops, debates, and the structure of the training will encourage active involvement of all the participants in order for them to develop competencies and new tools to mainstream a sensitive approach of gender and gender equality in their organizations.

PARTICIPANTS: 3 participants (18+) per organization, fluent in English

Location of the study session and accommodation:
In Ile-de-France, in La Ferté-Sous-Jouarre.

The participants will be housed in tents; they have to bring a sleeping bag.

If they want to feel more comfortable, they can bring a sleeping mattress but Concordia will provide a sleeping mattress for everyone.

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΑ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΑ:
Η Διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

The travel costs will be reimbursed only for the cheapest way of transport and preferably for the return tickets up to 360€ (for all the original tickets and ways of travel that are plane, bus, train or ferry).

Το ποσό συμμετοχής για το πρόγραμμα είναι 50€.
