Η ΕΛΙΞ είναι εταίρος του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος “Leaders of Change” που θα υλοποιηθεί από 6 Απριλίου έως 16 Απριλίου 2022 κοντά στο Βrno της Τσεχίας. Το πρόγραμμα συντονίζεται και υλοποιείται από την σλοβάκικη οργάνωση INEX-SDA σε συνεργασία με την ουγγρική οργάνωση Egyesek, ενώ υποστηρίζεται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ με στόχο να παρέχει στους συμμετέχοντες που ήδη ηγούνται ομάδων ή εθελοντών τη δυνατότητα να βελτιώσουν την απόδοσή τους σε θέματα αυτογνωσίας, ευρηματικότητας και ανάληψης ευθυνών.
Αναζητούμε 5 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18+ για να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα το οποίο ως μεθοδολογία θα στηριχτεί πάνω στην προσωπική ανάπτυξη και την ενδοσκόπηση των συμμετεχόντων, δηλ. έμφαση θα δοθεί κυρίως στη νοοτροπία/συμπεριφορές αυτών, παρά στον εμπλουτισμό τους με πρακτικές δεξιότητες και πρότυπα.
Εκτός από την ΕΛΙΞ οι συμμετέχοντες θα προέρχονται από τις ακόλουθες χώρες: Φινλανδία, Γαλλία, Ιταλία, Βόρεια Μακεδονία, Πολωνία, Πορτογαλία, Σερβία, Σλοβακία, Σλοβενία, Ισπανία.

BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Leaders of Change (is a 9 days training course for those already leading either groups or volunteers, who want to improve their performance, based upon the principles of self-awareness, resourcefulness and accountability
The main methodology used will be personal development and self-reflection which means that we will be focusing mainly on your mindset /attitudes rather than providing you practical skills or models
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
The main objectives of the project are. To:
- Reflect on the role of leadership and explore your own attitudes, approach and inner motivation for your work with volunteering.
- Realize how your mind set influences your behaviors, the results you get and the relationships you have with other people in your working context.
- Acquire models and tools to align yourself with your core values, while being more inclusive towards others and unexpected situations.
- Put your experience into practice and multiply among your colleagues and target groups.
Please note that this is NOT a skills/tool oriented training, but it rather focuses on personal development and self-reflection
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Self-Reflection (Day 1 tο 5)
During these days the participants will have the opportunity to get a better and deeper understanding on how and why they lead people and how this affects the results they obtain, and they can maintain what works and improve what doesn’t Shortly the participants will have the opportunity to look into the relationship between beliefs, concepts, automatic behaviours, teamwork and decision making They will do so through input, activities and reflection spaces
Submersion/Real life implementation/Outdoor (Day 5 to 8)
The best way to transform theory into knowledge is to practice in a real-life situation or context Participants will have several assignments to complete in the local communities around the venue where they can put into practice the knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired throughout the previous days of the TC.
Final Steps (Days 8 & 9)
These last 2 days are there to wrap up the learning experience of the TC, in such a way that the insights can be taken home in a structured manner, to plan follow up steps and close the TC together.
LOCATION
INEX-SDA will arrange the boarding (we will bring participants to the venue from an easy to reach meeting point), accommodation (with 2- 6 bedded rooms and access to facilities), food (prepared according to individual dietary requirements).
METHODOLOGY
The Leaders of Change is not the regular training you might be used to when it comes to non-formal education/Erasmus+.
We combine elements from formal education, non-formal and informal learning, as we find all of them purposeful when applied to the right context. We work from a perspective which unites learning by experience with coaching, as we believe that this supports the most the participants in their own development.
The training is here to challenge participants’ perceptions, beliefs and assumptions and to settle themselves as people and leaders. Due to this approach, which focuses highly on the personal background of the participants, it might be emotionally intensive. It is so as we aim to create an impactful and useful process, by focusing on what is relevant on the participants’ personal and professional life.
Therefore, the majority of the program will consist of activities for self-reflection, supported by some models and tools we find relevant and powerful.
The participants will explore, play and try out, so they can find their own conclusions. The training is there for people who want to work on themselves; therefore, each participant is the creator of their own experience.
By doing so, participants will be able to develop the powerful capacity for self-coaching: the ability to bring yourself towards the results you want to achieve in life, while enjoying it.
We use a specific methodology, developed for more than over 10 years in a network of youth organizations, with a specific culture:
We take each day as a working day with a length of 10 to 14 hours, including meals and breaks;
For the majority of the training the program is pre-defined;
Our activities stimulate participants to bring what is relevant for them, independently from whatever culture they come from; therefore, we will not use the traditional name games, icebreakers or intercultural evening activities.
We will use for the most part a theatrical setting: specific room’s settings, specific materials, music and we will have as a team a specific approach. We create the stage for participants to bring what is relevant for themselves and work it out.
ACCOMODATION
You will be accommodated in 2-6 bedded rooms with shared showers and toilets located at each of the floors. There is a big training room, dining area, a garden around the accommodation and a "forest bar" (outside space where you can buy simple refreshments).
PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS
Anyone that recognizes the profile below:
- Are planning to lead a project or a workcamp in 2022/2023 and ideally have been to or are planning to go to regular skills-oriented project or workcamp leaders’ trainings.
- Are at least 18 years old and can communicate in English.
- Are willing to work on their personal and professional development.
- Are able to participate fully at the programme from the beginning till the end.
Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case it will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 400€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)
Travel costs will be covered based on the unit costs of the program. Please note that participants will be reimbursed the real costs of their transport fees up to a certain limit as per information below. Please do not buy travel tickets until your participation has been approved by Concordia. All the travel costs will be reimbursed the earliest 3 months after the end of the youth exchange.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€ και καλύπτει μέρος των λειτουργικών και διοικητικών εξόδων της ΕΛΙΞ ως οργάνωσης αποστολής. Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την διοργανώτρια οργάνωση INEX-SDA που θα πληρωθεί με την άφιξη σας είναι 60€.
