ΕΡΓΟ

Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "Life across the fences. Peace Action Week on Migration and intercultural sensitivity", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 5 άτομα ηλικίας 18+, που θα συμμετέχουν στο εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο, το οποίο διοργανώνεται από τις 3 έως τις 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2018 στην πόλη του Hollókő στην Ουγγαρία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.

Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται με συγχρηματοδότηση από το Erasmus+ και θα συμμετέχουν εκτός της ΕΛΙΞ, της Egyesek Youth Association που έχει τον συντονισμό, οργανώσεις από άλλες έξι χώρες.

Life across the fences
Peace Action Week on Migration and intercultural sensitivity

 

Europe has been facing a massive migration flow since 2015 and European countries have different reactions to this challenge. The question of migration is a complex issue. Egyesek Youth Association decided to organize Life across the fences Peace Action Week because our aim is to find ways how IVS organizations can increase intercultural sensitivity among European youngsters and support the social inclusion of young migrants in Europe.

 

To achieve this we set the following objectives:

- human rights education regarding the rights of migrants
- to approach intercultural dialogue with tolerance and open-minded attitude
- to empower participants to develop raising awareness actions at local, national and international level;
- to develop future Raising Peace projects on intercultural sensitivity and migration

 

The project will be one of the events of the Raising Peace Campaign and will empower participants to develop their actions and projects for the 3rd Global Human Rights Week of CCIVS to be held in October 2018.

 

WHO IS IT FOR?

- Youth workers and leaders involved in IVS organizations
- Activists committed to human rights and peace
- 18+

Ideally, we would like to include some young people with a migration background.

- Human rights regarding the rights of migrants and refugees through interactive workshops
- Raising Peace Campaign and Global Human Rights Week of CCIVS (Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service)
- Intercultural dialogue through forum theatre
- The current situation and challenges of migration in Europe
- Raising awareness actions and you will realize one in Budapest
- Project development

 

TRAINERS
Francesco Argenio Benaroio
Trainer and facilitator of Theatre of the Oppressed / Forum Theatre activities, and director of the “ANAMUH – Arts for Dialogue” social initiative. Using Theatre and participatory arts, he has been involved as trainer and project manager in various NGOs and grass-root organizations in Europe and Asia for peace education, empowerment and intercultural dialogue in vulnerable communities, including marginalized youth, Roma, displaced, migrants, refugees.

 

Olsi Dudumi
Olsi Dudumi is a sociologist and social activist. His involvement in issues of diversity, multiculturalism and integration for the past 10 years has been both educational and professional. He has been involved with many NGO-s and youth organisations in Malta, Finland, Macedonia and Hungary during his professional experience. Over the past 3 years he has been working at the country office of International Organisation for Migration (IOM) - the UN Migration.

 

Gergő Kiss
Trainer, facilitator in both profit and non-profit sectors for 8 years. He uses applied improvisation as a main method in his work. His special fields are improvisation, creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, intercultural and cross-sectorial communication and cooperation.

 

PRACTICALS
The venueerasmus plus logo 2
The program will be in Creative Space training center and group accommodation in Hollókő.
Hollókő is a small village located in North-Hungary, by 100 km from Budapest. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. In Creative Space you will be accommodated in 4 bedded rooms which all have its own showers and toilets. In the building of the group accommodation, you can find the training room, dining area, common social areas.

 

More detailed information on how to reach the place will be included in the infopack that will be sent to participants after their acceptance.

 

Egyesek covers:
- Accommodation
- Food *
- Cost of the program
- 100% of the travel cost up to the limit

 

As a participant you cover
- Travel cost above the limit
- 50€ contribution **
* According to the diet you indicate in the application form
** We ask for the contribution to cover the cost of the one-day program in Budapest where you will have the chance to meet social workers of organisations working in the field of migration.

 

Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275 €(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 275€, you will receive all 275€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 200€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 200€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€. Ένα άλλο ποσό συμμετοχής των 50 ευρώ είναι για τον οργανισμό στην Ουγγαρία.
