Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος "Migrant’ ART - Raising awareness and understanding about migration trough art practices and productions" που φιλοξενεί η οργάνωση CONCORDIA της Γαλλίας, έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς 4 θέσεις για ηλικίες 18+, που επιθυμούν να συμμετέχουν στο σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται κοντά στην πόλη Rennes της Γαλλίας, από τις 20 έως τις 28 Νοεμβρίου 2016.

Σκοπός του σεμιναρίου είναι η εξοικείωση και η εκπαίδευση σε καλλιτεχνικά και εκπαιδευτικά εργαλεία με στόχο την ανάπτυξη και προώθηση διαπολιτισμικών δράσεων σχετικές με μετανάστες στις οργανώσεις τους.

Location: A scout center “Centre Forestier du Bec Rond”, 38 bis rue de Normandie, 35235 THORIGNE-FOUILLARD, in the forest, at 12 km from Rennes, in Bretagne. You can find more informations on: http://bec-rond.ecles.fr/

Accomodation: Please note that participants will be accommodated in dormitory with bunk beds (4 to 8 beds).
The meals will be prepared by a team of volunteers cookers. Participants will be asked to collaborate in the daily maintenance tasks, such as the cleaning of the common spaces and will give a hand in the kitchen management (cleaning dishes, set the tables, etc.). We kindly remind everybody to inform about any specific needs concerning food or allergies and to do it via e-mail!

PLEASE consider that for the duration of the training THERE WON’T BE INTERNET CONNECTION AVAILABLE WITH WIFI!!! 

Background of the project:
Concordia was created after the WW2 in order to rebuild what was destroyed during the war and to promote peace between people. Concordia joined the movement of non-formal education. We are promoting an education for all by all without age, sexual, cultural, religious or economic distinction. Beyond all, on his charter, Concordia encourages the circulation of people and ideas through international exchanges.

Concordia highlights this strong idea in answer of the actual fear climate caused by the recent tragic events which occurred in France and the immigration phenomenon. Moreover, those events taken back by extremist movements provoke a feeling of fear in the population and a cultural compartmentalization.

With this training, Concordia Bretagne wants to provide a space to go against the rise of actual pessimistic speeches in order to explore the situation of migrants, immigrants, asylum seekers from another point of view.

We want to act on the migratory problematic in Europe: Since the creation of EU, the question on the controle of clandestine migration is still a debate. The geopolitical context, and the way the information is transmit by the media, create difficulties to youth workers to work on it.

We think it is important for youth workers from our network to go deeper on this topic and develop actions of sensibilisation about the thematic.

Connections will be made with local partners working on the rights of migrants and with art as tool of sensibilisation about the problematic of immigration
(eg, La Cimade - http://www.lacimade.org/la-cimade-english/ - , L'age de la Tortue - http://agedelatortue.org/?page_id=3243 -).

We are willing to highlight initiatives and ideas of the network in order to promote interculturality and the “living together”.
We chose to use several artistic ways to do it because art is an educative tool.

La Cimade, organisation based on active solidarity with oppressed people, defend dignity and rights of refugees and migrants, from any origins, political or religious beliefs.

One of the actions proposed by La Cimade, is a festival “Migrant'scene”, - http://www.migrantscene.org/ -mixing actors of solidarity, art, culture, “popular education” for a large and mixed public.

The first half part of the training will be dedicated to go deeper in the topic of migration, the second part will be three groups work on the creation of one artistic educative tool (visual art, theater/dance/music performance or video), presentation of the work in the festival, and analysis of the work after presentation to the festival.

All long the week we will also participate to this festival as public.

Objectives of the project:
The objective of this project is to give to youth workers the artistic and educative tools to answer to the problematic of migration, and to facilitate the creation of artistic tools usable in educative context in order to develop and promote intercultural interest of immigration in the activities of their organization.

The training propose to the participant to work on their posture as youth worker, on sharing reflections, learning and sharing tools, methods and theoretical knowledge, in order to be able to propose artistical and pedagogical activities to sensibilise their target group on this thematics:
- International solidarity
- Clandestine migrant/refugees/Asylium seekers
- Racism
- Interculturality
- Active citizenship/Engagement

The main objectives are:
- Enhancing a reflection about interculturality and migration - starting by explaining each national context -
- Develop critical mind, on the situation of immigration, especially on the impact of the media in the way of understanding the problematic;
- Improve and develop theoretical competences and basic technics to create new projects;
- Create new tools (activities, artistic creations, participative workshop) in order to put in practice our knowledge learn during the training.
-Propose this tools during the festival Migrant' scene
- Reflecting on the role and position of facilitators working with this target group;

Profile of participants:
This training targets social workers, youth workers, artists, volunteers, workcamps leaders, active members in their organization curious about the actual problematic of immigration who would like to run activities dealing with this thematic to sensibilise against racism.
Participants need to be motivated and ready to participate to the entire training.

They need to have the basic knowledge in English that will be the language used during the training.

Methodology:
The methodology, based on the reinforcement of non-formal education values and the structure of this European training will serve to further encourage an active involvement of each participant. This will allow participants to be able to develop competencies and new tools in order to develop a sensitive approach about intercultural issues in their organization and spread the final outcomes.

Non-formal education values will be share with workshops in large or small groups, sharing of experience and know-how, debates, participative evaluations - using innovating methods of learning.

Artistic workshop and work on artistics and creative abilities of the participants in order to create an artistic educational tool that will be presented during the festival (visual art, theater/dance/music performance, or a video, depending on the interest of the participant)

Financial conditions:
- Travel costs will be covered based on the unit costs of the program. Please note that participants will be reimbursed the real costs of their transport fees up to a certain limit as per information below.
- 100% lodging and food are covered

Concordia would like to encourage participants to buy travel tickets ASAP to enjoy economical prices. Please do not buy travel tickets until your participation has been approved by Concordia. Normally the refund process can take, approximately, 4 – 6 months.

Please note that the process of reimbursement will be carried out directly with the applicant organizations and not with the individual participant.

GENERAL REMARKS:
- we kindly remind that the project dates are 20th - 28th of November 2016;
- the arrivals are scheduled for the 20nd of November 2016 in in the afternoon (please make sure that your flight is not landing in the late evening as there won’t be suitable connection to join the place);
- the departures are scheduled for 28st of November 2016
- meeting points will be provided as soon as we have received the different flight schedules;

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΑ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΑ
Το κόστος των μετακινήσεων κάθε συμμετέχοντα στο πρόγραμμα αυτό επιδοτείται μέχρι του ποσού των 360€(*), σύμφωνα με τους όρους και τους κανόνες του Erasmus+. Οι συμμετέχοντες λαμβάνουν την επιδότηση αυτή μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…).
(*: Επεξήγηση: αν λοιπόν το συνολικό κόστος των εισιτηρίων σου, αεροπορικά, μετρό, λεωφορεία, κλπ (όχι ΤΑΞΙ) φτάσει τα 350€ τότε θα λάβεις 350€ άρα θα επιδοτηθεί το 100% του κόστους των μετακινήσεων σου. Αν το συνολικό κόστος φτάσει τα 400€ τότε θα λάβεις το μέγιστο της επιδότησης τα 360€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας θα πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια της συνάντησης καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Γαλλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.
