Ξεκίνησε η υλοποίηση του προγράμματος “GO TEENS”, που υποστηρίζεται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+.

Η ΕΛΙΞ είναι εταίρος του προγράμματος που συντονίζεται από την γαλλική οργάνωση Solidarités Jeunesses και περιλαμβάνει μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα σειρά δραστηριοτήτων όπου θα γίνουν η ανταλλαγή βέλτιστων πρακτικών και η προετοιμασία - τόσο των οργανώσεων όσο και των νέων που θα συμμετάσχουν - στον κλάδο της υλοποίησης προγραμμάτων εθελοντικής εργασίας για εφήβους και την εργασία με αυτή την ομάδα στόχος, με την μοναδική ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχουν οι νέοι σε δύο εκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια στην Ισπανία τον Ιανουάριο και στην Γαλλία την άνοιξη 2020.

Η Γαλλική οργάνωση Solidarités Jeunesses συντονίζει το παρόν πρόγραμμα σε συνεργασία με άλλους 8 εταίρους από την Ελλάδα, Ισπανία, Ιαπωνία, Ινδία, Εσθονία, Ιταλία, Γαλλία και από τον Καναδά.

Για την πρώτη φάση του προγράμματος, το εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο “Seminar on quality youth work”, η ΕΛΙΞ αναζητά 1 συμμετέχοντα/συμμετέχουσα ηλικίας 18+. Tο πρόγραμμα θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 8 (ημέρα άφιξης) έως τις 12 Ιανουαρίου (ημέρα αναχώρησης) 2020 στην όμορφη πόλη Benidorm της Ισπανίας.

PROJECT SUMMARY
Every year a great number of young people under 18 is extremely interested in participating in IVS projects, but IVS organisations lack of projects open to teenagers and many of them would like to implement them, but consider that they don't have the capacities to ensure safe and quality projects. A lot of organisations declare that they are receiving three times more requests from teenagers, which they are unable to satisfy because of lack of adequate projects abroad. Similar conclusions are confirmed by the reports of international IVS networks, CCIVS global statistics mention that less than 20% of volunteers are under 18 and the Alliance of European Voluntary service organisations counts 19% of teenagers. Both networks consider that the number of teenager volunteers and their interest in international projects is constantly increasing. Yet, there is not enough teenager projects in order to satisfy this demand. The main aim of the project GO with Teenagers Engagement and Empowerment through Networking is to support the quality development of youth work by elaborating and formalising tools and improving competences to prepare, implement and evaluate international projects for teenagers. Furthermore, the project will strengthen the exchanges among youth organisations and young people. It will also improve the recognition of international projects for teens, especially young people with fewer opportunities, both in programme and in partner countries, and of the value of international voluntary activities as a way to develop their autonomy, self-recognition, sense of democracy, engagement, intercultural skills and values.

The main objectives of the project are:

1. 1. To reinforce the capacity of partner organisations to organise international projects for teenagers.
   2. To provide youth workers with quality online and offline tools to lead international activities for teenagers.
   3. To increase the number of international projects for teenagers and make them sustainable.
   4. To foster the participation of teenagers, especially those with fewer opportunities in international youth activities.

SEMINAR ON QUALITY YOUTH WORK
The participating organisations will extend their knowledge on the pedagogy and methodologies to be used in teenagers' projects and will have valuable contributions and expertise about intercultural pedagogy for teenagers. They will also focus on the inclusion models for youngsters with fewer opportunities in such projects. They will be introduced to the methods impact assessment in social sciences which is one of the core principles of the project.

Objectives:

• to better understand the needs and context of each participating organisations;
• to exchange and learn how volunteering can have a positive impact on teenagers;
• to be introduced to the pedagogy and specificities of work with teenagers in intercultural contexts, including those with fewer opportunities;
• to fine-tune the next steps of the project.

DATES OF THE PROJECT
Participants who take part in the seminar are expected to arrive on 8th January 2020 and leave on 12th of January 2020. Please, note that you have maximum 2 days before or after the project. This is very important for the reimbursements. We cannot reimburse participants who will stay longer than two days more than the actual dates of the project. ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD
You will be most likely accommodated in the rooms of three people. The hotel is only 10 min away from the beach by foot, it is in walking distance of shopping centers, cafes, restaurants. Vegan, no pork and gluten/lactose-free food can be offered on request upon previous agreement (do not forget to inform us in advance).

HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL? We recommend you to fly to Alicante-Elche Airport. It might be also suitable to reach the venue through Valencia Airport. Bear in mind that other options such as flying to Madrid or Barcelona will require a 450 km land travel by bus/train.

FROM THE AIRPORT "ALICANTE-ELCHE" TO BENIDORM
Public transport to Benidorm. There's direct ALSA bus (https://www.alsa.es/ please check timetable) for 9,65 € almost every hour directly from the airport to Benidorm Bus Station (Estacion Autobuses). INSURANCE
If you are a citizen of a member state of the EU, you should bring with you your European Health Insurance Card.

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT All reimbursements will be done no later than 5 months after the project takes place in case you provide all the necessary information and original tickets on time. Reimbursements will be done by Solidarités Jeunesses. In order to be reimbursed, please keep all the originals (tickets, boarding passes, invoices etc.).

We remind you again that you have maximum 2 days outside of the project dates to stay in Spain before leaving for your country. In case you exceed this limit, we will not be able to reimburse you. We will not be able to provide food and accommodation for the participants of the seminar before the 8th of January which is an official arrival day.

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ.…). Σύμφωνα με τους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+, το μέγιστο ποσό που καλύπτεται για τα μεταφορικά είναι μέχρι 360€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 360€ and you spend 300€, you will receive all 300€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 400€ with a budget of 360€, we will reimburse you up to 360€.)

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 70€.
