Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "The sound of light", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 4 άτομα άνω των 18 χρονών που θα συμμετέχουν στο εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται 1 με 9 Απριλίου 2016 στο Poggio Mirteto της Ιταλία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.

Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η ανταλλαγή εμπειριών και μεθοδολογιών για την ενεργή συμμετοχή νέων με προβλήματα ακοής σε τοπικές ή διεθνείς δράσεις.

Στο σεμινάριο οργανώνεται από την Lunaria cαι θα συμμετέχουν άτομα από την, Γαλλία, Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Βέλγιο, Αυστρία, Τσεχία, Ρωμανία και φυσικά την Ελλάδα.

BACKGROUND:
Lunaria launched in 2013 a medium term strategy to be implemented in 2014-2015 and 2016, which aims to tackle in the most detailed way, from the perspective of young people, of youth-social workers and NGOs, the topic of DISABILITY.

In the entire strategy and in all the projects we believe that the key element it’s the active participation. By practically experiment what disability is, doing that from different perspectives and exchanging life’ experiences, it can be possible to implement a concrete strategy aimed to explore disability in an omni-comprehensive manner. In this process, the main idea it’s not to “integrate” people with disability, but to find the most suitable way to give value to the different skills and abilities in order to activate new forms of participation and understanding.

"The sound of light” project, aims to further develop the quality of youth work in the field of disability –focusing on hearing impairment-, by providing participants, youth and social workers, as well as young people with and without disability, with new working methods to run new inclusive initiatives and projects.

It will include different activities:
- A Training course for youth workers (1-9/04/2016): aimed at gathering the representatives/youth workers/active volunteers of the organizations that will be involved in the entire process.
- A Youth exchange (6-13/10/2016): it will be a second step in the involvement of young people with and without disability, specifically deaf and hard of hearing young people.

Priority will be given to participants willing/able to participate to all projects.

During the project non-formal education methods will be proposed, which promote the horizontal exchange of knowledge, active participation, the creation of learning paths -at individual and group level-, and the learn by doing approach.

The sound of light: Training course for youth workers - 1-9/04/2016
AIM:
Τo gather the representatives/youth workers/active volunteers of the organizations in order to share experiences and methodologies on the active participation of youngsters with hearing impairment in local and international projects. It will allow participants to test new non-formal education methodologies, with a special focus on the ability of rethinking and reconstructing them according to the needs of the target groups, adapting them as needed and making them more inclusive.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
To present the current situation of each participant own country concerning the way in which disability is approached;
• to analyse the reasons behind the lack of participation in local and international projects of youngsters with disability, the causes and the consequences of the exclusion or discriminative events that take place;
• to set a deep and detailed analysis of the different backgrounds' problems, specifically related to disability and the way to dial with them;
• to present the different experiences in the field of disability, the working methods participants daily use in their activities targeted to young people;
• to exchange the good practices and the virtuous experiences taking place in each background and that contribute to empower the youth work quality on this field;
• to develop new working methods to facilitate the active participation, to projects and initiatives at local and international level, of young people with and without disabilities;
• to give to the participants the opportunity to export the new competences and skills they have gained during the training so that they can share them with other colleagues activating a multiplying effect;
• to set a common ground and collect the necessary information to afterwards develop the other steps of the project, basing the work on the real needs appeared, ensuring a coherent process able to answer the different needs and specificities of the different local backgrounds

TARGET GROUP:
representatives of the partner organizations, youth workers, social workers and peer educators active at local level in their associations or youth centers, who implement grass-rooted activities with young people with and without disabilities.

TRAINING DATES: 2nd - 8th April 2016 (7 working days)
ARRIVAL DAY: 1st April 2016
DEPARTURE DAY: 9th April 2016

PLACE:

ACCOMMODATION:
Participants will sleep in dormitories and shared rooms with bunk beds (4 to 8 beds), with shared bathroom. They will be asked to support and to give their contribution in the shift for cooking and preparing meals. Participants will be asked to collaborate in the daily maintenance tasks, such as cleaning the common spaces and giving a hand in the kitchen (cleaning dishes, set the table, etc.). We kindly remind everybody to inform about any specific needs concerning food or allergies and to do it in the application form or via e-mail!

REFUNDING OF TRAVEL EXPENSES
All participants can be refunded of their travel expenses until the limit stated further down. Lunaria will not refund during the project. All the travel costs will be reimbursed the earliest 3 months after the end of the training course. Please note that the process of reimbursement will be carried out directly with the partner organizations and not with the individual participants.

Participants must provide all their original travel documents (flight, train and shuttle tickets, boarding passes) to their own organisations.

Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 260€, you will receive all 260€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 400€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας θα πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Ιταλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.

Σημαντική Σημείωση
Θα πρέπει οι συμμετέχοντες να λάβουν υπόψιν τους πως ένας/μία από τους 4 θα συνοδεύσει-ηγηθεί μιας ομάδα νέων, από την Ελλάδα, που θα συμμετέχουν στον δεύτερο κύκλο του προγράμματος που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ιταλία από τις 6 έως τις 13 Οκτωβρίου 2016.
