Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "The Pot of Gold – Education and exchange to fight hate speech and discrimination", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 3 άτομα άνω των 21 χρονών που θα συμμετέχουν στο εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται 5 με 13 Μαΐου 2016 στο Orvieto της Ιταλία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.

Ο σκοπός του σεμιναρίου είναι να αναπτυχθούν θέματα που αφορούν τη ρητορική μίσους (hate speech) και των διακρίσεων για θέματα φύλου και σεξουαλικών προτιμήσεων στο πλαίσιο δράσεων με νέους.

Tο σεμινάριο οργανώνεται από την Lunaria και θα συμμετέχουν άτομα από την Γαλλία, Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Ρωμανία, Πορτογαλία, Ουγγαρία, Πολώνια και φυσικά την Ελλάδα.

GENERAL BACKGROUND:
Lunaria has been launched since the end of 2012, a long term strategy to be implemented in 2013-2016, which aims to tackle, from different points of view and from the perspective of young people, of youth-social workers and Ngos, the topic of gender discrimination and hate speech.

Under this strategy Lunaria has already implemented in 2013 a training course named “TAG CLOUD Respecting and Valuing Gender and Generational Differences“ aimed at providing youth-social workers, peer educators and active citizens, who work with young people and adults at risk of social exclusion, with new tools to approach the gender issues and to facilitate the gender balance in the activities they daily run. The project involved 30 participants from European-EU and South Eastern Europe-SEE countries and led to the creation of a final performance about gender.

We are aware that it might be complex to tackle, in a wide and omni comprehensive manner all the gender related issues because of the many different sub-related topics and just to mention some of them: feminisms, its development, evolution and the state of play in the contemporary society; Gender-Based Violence; LGBT; domestic violence and sexual abuse; women in society; women in politic and decision making processes; wage gap and economical inequality.

For this reason we decided to approach the different issues with a “step by step” approach, defining the priorities related to gender and youth work: the two training courses will be focused on on-line and off-line hate speech toward LGBT and on youth work and the gender-related conflicts that might appear in the work with young people.

AIM OF THE TRAINING:
To involve participants in simulation and analysis of the psychological dynamics and cultural factors favoring the appearance of discrimination, and the acquisition of new skills and techniques to manage conflict situations.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
- to develop the work about prejudices and stereotypes which will be based on the analysis of the cultural differences and on the definition of the intercultural learning – ICL processes;
- to deepen the analysis about the individual and the multiple identity, with a specific focus on the “role models” imposed by the society;
- to debate the weight of words and definitions, analysing how the incorrect use of labels might contribute to the exclusion of the group of people we would like to include and lead to their social exclusion;
- to develop the participant personal knowledge about discrimination both on and off online, toward LGBT people, with a specific focus on what hate speech is and on its manifestation on Internet and social networks;
- to make participants in condition to better understand the dynamics behind the discriminative behaviours (how to identify the stage of violence, the causes behind, the actors involved and how to run a permanent monitoring);
- to share the good practices adopted and the working methods used in the different countries to promote the equal rights and opportunities of LGBT people;
- to develop new tools, coming from the combination of ICT and non formal education, to conceive and implement new campaigns to promote the respect of differences and of the human rights;
- to deepen the work on the knowledge transmission: how I can transmit, once back home, the techniques learnt (one among them the creation of short videos with the stop motion technique) to other people and colleagues so to keep them involved in the creation of campaigns and raising awareness messages toward LGBT.

TARGET GROUP:
Youth workers, peer educators and active citizens who work with and support local organizations, interested on gender issues and involved in the realization of youth initiatives aimed to raising awareness on the theme of this project. Participants must be over 21.

REFUNDING OF TRAVEL EXPENSES:
All participants can be refunded of their travel expenses until the limit stated further down. Lunaria will not refund during the project. All the travel costs will be reimbursed the earliest 3 months after the end of the training course. Please note that the process of reimbursement will be carried out directly with the partner organizations and not with the individual participants.

Participants must provide all their original travel documents (flight, train and shuttle tickets, boarding passes) to their own organisations.

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΆ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΊΑ
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 260€, you will receive all 260€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.  

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Γαλλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.

Σημαντική Σημείωση
Θα πρέπει οι συμμετέχοντες να λάβουν υπόψιν τους πως ένας από τους 3 θα συνοδεύσει-ηγηθεί μια ομάδα νέων, από την Ελλάδα, που θα συμμετέχουν στον δεύτερο κύκλο του προγράμματος που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ιταλία στις 21-30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016.
