Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "Young Activists for Peace and Dialogue", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 4 άτομα ηλικίας 18-26 και έναν αρχηγό ομάδας ηλικίας 18+, που θα συμμετέχουν στην ανταλλαγή νέων που διοργανώνεται από τις 15 έως τις 27 Αυγούστου 2017 κοντά στην πόλη του Sievershausen στη Γερμανία (κοντά στο Αννόβερο) και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.
Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείτε με συγχρηματοδότηση από το Erasmus+ και συμμετέχουν εκτός της ΕΛΙΞ και της ICJA της Γερμανίας που έχει τον συντονισμό, οργανώσεις από το Αζερμπαϊτζάν, το Βέλγιο, την Γεωργία, και το Ισραήλ,.

International youth exchange in Sievershausen from 15.08. to 27.08.2017
This youth exchange is designed for 30 interested youngsters (of 18 – 26 years) from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Germany, Georgia, Greece and Israel, who would like to learn about ways and concepts to fight against rightwing propaganda, discrimination against Muslims and human rights violations against refugees and migrants.
Throughout your active participation in group activities, excursions and workshops, you will learn a lot about your cultural diversity and discuss topics by which we are all affected. In the training “Young people becoming agents of peace”, you will be developing fundamental skills for your personal handling in violence and conflicts. Moreover, you will have the possibility to deal with subjects and find answers regarding topics such as “Appreciation of cultural diversity and a peaceful co-existence in our society”. Through videos and other media, you will be able to face the increasing racism and radicalization in a creative way and to embody solidarity with refugees in your local environment. Please note: The workshops and activities will be partly implemented together with asylum seekers from Central and East Africa in an accommodation in the close-by village of Lehrte.
We will learn and practice how we can live peacefully together in a community. Participants will realize that each of us is part of a world community with different worldviews, religions, languages, stories and perceptions, which can only survive on the path of peace and dialogue. In this way, we will foster the common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination!
The activities in detail
In the first part of the youth exchange you will get an introduction in the Peace Educational Training “Friedensstifter” (“Young people becoming agents of peace”). This will lasts 4 days and will contain multiple activities to learn about basic skills to deal with violence and conflict at personal level. Later innovative workshops and activities on racism, right-wing extremism, anti-Semitism, anti-Islamism and discrimination will take place. Participants will meet refugees and develop creative workshops (visual arts, photo, video, forum theatre, music) around the topic “How can we promote cultural diversity and a peaceful co-existence in our society?”.
Venue of the training
The Peace Studies Center Sievershausen was established in the rooms of the Sievershausen Lutheran Church community almost 50 years ago. Those were the times when the Vietnam War escalated. Expansions and further re-organizations followed. Now there are several buildings, surrounded by a nice park, including a guesthouse and a museum with an assembly hall. Every year an international workcamp is carried out there, and the place really benefits from this international atmosphere. The seminar house offers sleeping rooms for 3-4 people, volunteers will have a lot of space for meetings, cooking, dining, relaxing and for indoor and outdoor activities. Sievershausen is located 30 kilometers east of the Lower Saxony provincial capital Hannover on the freeway to Berlin http://www.antikriegshaus.de/. The accommodation for asylum seekers which which we will cooperate is based in Lehrte, a close-by little town in the north of Sievershausen.
Conditions of participation
Number of participants: 4 participants + 1 youth leader from each partner organization.
Participation fee (40 euro) to be paid at ICJA. ICJA will deduct this fee from reimbursement of travel costs. Youth leader do not need to pay participation fee.
Date of arrival 15.08. in the afternoon
Date of departure 27.08.2017 after breakfast
Age: from 18 - 26 (younger or older upon request possible). Youth leaders no upper limit (18+)
Language: English
You should have strong interest in the topic and be ready to participate in workshops and social activities.
Accommodation and food are free.
Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 170€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 170€ and you spend 150€, you will receive all 150€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 200€ with a budget of 170€, we will reimburse you up to 170€.)
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 30€.
