Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του συγχρηματοδοτούμενου προγράμματος για νέους με θέμα “Make it MedEATerranean!” διάρκειας 10 ημερών, έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 5 νέους 18-25 χρονών και ένα αρχηγό ηλικίας 18 – 30 που ενδιαφέρονται να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής νέων που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από την 22 Αυγούστου έως την 1 Σεπτεμβρίου 2016 στο μαγευτικό Amalfi κοντά στην Νάπολη της Ιταλίας.

Όπως είναι φανερό και από τον τίτλο του προγράμματος σκοπός του είναι οι συμμετέχοντες να μυηθούν στα μυστικά και τις τεχνικές της μεσογειακής κουζίνας αλλά και των παραδόσεών της!!!

Youth Exchange (KA1 Erasmus+)

DATES: 22 August 2016 (arrival day) – 01 September 2016 (departure day)
PLACE: Tramonti (SA), Amalfi Coast, Italy

PARTICIPANTS: 30 (5 + 1 group leader per organisation)

PROJECT SUMMARY:
“Make it MedEATterranean!” is a youth exchange (KA1, Erasmus+ programme), 10 days long, that involves 30 young people coming from 5 countries: Italy, Greece, Spain, France and Turkey. The main topic of the project is the intercultural learning through food, culinary traditions and healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Participants will share knowledge about Mediterranean cultures through their eating habits and reflect upon the connection between the way we eat and the way we live and feel. Moreover the exchange aims at raising awareness about the impact of our everyday food consumption on environment and at providing young people with tools and know-how's in promoting and enhancing local products by using new technologies (social media, network, campaigns, etc.)

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
The activities will consist in mutual exchange and sharing one's own customs: through workshops based on non-formal education methods the participants will learn / find out more about the other cultures, in order to eliminate the barriers and the prejudices between them. The participants will be also involved and run by themselves cooking laboratories: by preparing their own traditional dishes and trying the cuisine of other countries they will identify the differences and the similarities among the dietary traditions of different areas of the Mediterranean region. Moreover, the project will be focused on rediscovering of typical local products that may become new brands of the territory and ensure ethical consumerism by reducing energy consumption.

Finally, the participants will be invited to create a toolkit/cookbook, available online, with some traditional recipes based on typical local products from each region/country involved in the project, to experiment one of possible ways to promote healthy and sustainable lifestyle, using new technologies and ensuring a follow-up of the youth exchange.

LOCATION AND LOCAL CONTEXT:
The project will take place in Tramonti village. Belonging to the area of Amalfi Coast, Tramonti is yet not well known as the other famous touristic destinations of the area (Positano, Amalfi, Maiori, Atrani etc.) but at the same time keeps numerous authentic cultural, agricultural and culinary traditions and offers a breath-taking immersion in the nature. In fact Tramonti’s name means "surrounded by mountains" (Intra Montes = among mountains).

In this context YAP Italy and local organisation ACARBIO organise international voluntary projects (workcamps) and promote actions to develop a sustainable approach to the territory (building an eco-center for youth, running workshops on healthy lifestyle, traditional cuisine and farming techniques, creating campaigns to promote local products etc.)

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD:
The participants will be living in a public school of Tramonti equipped with camp beds or mattresses and will cook as a team in the school kitchen.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS: according to the Erasmus+ standards

FOOD AND LODGEMENT covered at 100% by the project.

TRAVEL COSTS: Greece – up to 170 EUR per participant

NOTE: The price above includes the return tickets (flight, train, bus, metro). The taxi costs cannot be refunded. We will refund all the partners after the end of the project, as soon as we receive all the tickets and air boarding passes A/R in original and as soon as we receive the first instalment from the Italian National Agency. The bank transfer will be done to the bank account of the sending organization that afterwards will forward them to the participants' bank account.

VISA COSTS: will be reimbursed up to 70 EUR per participant

PARTICIPANTS’ PROFILE:
- aged between 18 and 25 y.o.;
- able to cook and willing to rediscover traditional Mediterranean diet;
- motivated to exchange tools and best practices for a branding of typical local products.

Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος των μετακινήσεων κάθε συμμετέχοντα στο πρόγραμμα αυτό επιδοτείται μέχρι του ποσού των 170€(*), σύμφωνα με τους όρους και τους κανόνες του Erasmus+. Οι συμμετέχοντες λαμβάνουν την επιδότηση αυτή μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…).
(*: Επεξήγηση: αν λοιπόν το συνολικό κόστος των εισιτηρίων σου, αεροπορικά, μετρό, λεωφορεία, κλπ (όχι ΤΑΞΙ) φτάσει τα 155€ τότε θα λάβεις 155€ άρα θα επιδοτηθεί το 100% του κόστους των μετακινήσεων σου. Αν το συνολικό κόστος φτάσει τα 200€ τότε θα λάβεις το μέγιστο της επιδότησης τα 170€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας θα πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Ιταλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.
