Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος "The Pot of Gold – Education and exchange to fight hate speech and discrimination", έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 5 άτομα, 18-25 χρονών που θα συμμετέχουν στην ανταλλαγή νέων που διοργανώνεται 22 με 31 Οκτωβρίου 2016 στο Orvieto της Ιταλία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.

Ο σκοπός της ανταλλαγής είναι να αναπτυχθούν θέματα που αφορούν τη ρητορική μίσους (hate speech) και των διακρίσεων για θέματα φύλου και σεξουαλικών προτιμήσεων στο πλαίσιο δράσεων με νέους.

Tο σεμινάριο οργανώνεται από την Lunaria και θα συμμετέχουν άτομα από την Γαλλία, Ισπανία, Ιταλία, Ρουμανία και φυσικά την Ελλάδα.

GENERAL BACKGROUND: The Pot Of Gold is a multi-action project which includes a training course (already implemented in May 2016) and a youth exchange (forecast for October 2016).

It is part of a medium term strategy, that Lunaria launched in 2012, aimed at promoting gender equality. The actors, target groups and beneficiaries within this process are young people, youth-social workers, local organizations and NGOs.

The work is mainly focused on exploring gender mainstream, which is deeply interconnected with history, traditions and values. For this reason the actions, part of this strategy, have a cross-cultural perspective while analysing different sub-gender sensitive issues, as for example gender-based discrimination, hate speech toward individuals and LGBT communities, feminisms, sexuality, gender-based violence and women empowerment.

TARGET GROUP: active young people and peer educators interested in gender equality and LGBT+ issues.

AGE OF PARTICIPANTS: young people aged between 18 and 25 years old, resident in the countries of the sending organization

AIM: to raise awareness among young people on gender equality and on the wide-spread of hate speech toward individual and LGBT+ communities. Furthermore the YE will enable them to recognize and manage the gender-related conflicts they could face within groups.

PLACE: Casa Laboratorio il Cerquosino, località San Faustino 22 Morrano 05019, Orvieto (TR), Italy. The place is managed by the local association Artemide. ACCOMMODATION: please consider the building is set in a marvellous place but in the countryside, so it is a bit isolated (40 minutes from the city of Orvieto), the local association members manage the place following sustainable practices (such as community life, garbage recycling, responsible water use, responsible electricity use, etc.) and participants involved in the project will be invited to follow these practices.
Participants will be asked to collaborate in the daily maintenance tasks, such as the cleaning of the common spaces and will give a hand in the kitchen management (cleaning dishes, set the tables, etc.). We kindly remind every body to inform about any specific needs concerning food or allergies and to do it in the application form.

METHODOLOGY: knowledge and skills can be exchanged in a peer to peer approach. For this reason, the relation among participants, group leaders and experts is based on the idea that they are mutually learning from each other and that the active participation is the “key” work in the entire process.
The interactive methodologies that will be proposed during the youth exchange, coming from the combination of non formal education and theatre techniques, foresees the active involvement of participants in each stage of the process. These methods have been choose because encourage the horizontal exchange of competences, facilitate the individual expression and favour the exchange of experiences. During the project the swap of knowledge and tools will be encouraged and the different approaches in learning will be constantly stimulated and evaluated. A specific attention will be dedicated to the different learning processes, to the individual ways of learning and to the valorisation of the individual skills.

Travel arrangements:
FOR THE ARRIVAL DAY: please search for flights landing in Rome (Ciampino or Fiumicino) in the morning or within the very early afternoon (maximum). Don’t’ take flights landing in the evening because after a certain hour there won’t be connections to arrive to Orvieto.

FOR THE DEPARTURE DAY: please find flights leaving from Rome (Ciampino or Fiumicino) around lunch time (not earlier than 12.00 a.m) or in the afternoon/evening. Don’t take flights leaving in the early morning because there are no connections to join Rome.

The travel costs, anticipated by participants, will be refunded accordingly to the maximum amount included in the E-Form budget and calculated through the Travel Distance Calculator of the EACEA. In the case the travel costs beard will exceed this amount, the amount refunded will correspond to the one fixed in the E-Form.

We will refund all the participants after the end of the project, upon the presentation of the travel documents, once we receive all the tickets and air boarding passes A/R in original. Normally the refund process can take, approximately, 4 – 6 months. The refunds will be done directly to the sending organizations bank account, not to the participants bank accounts.

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΆ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΊΑ

Το κόστος των μετακινήσεων κάθε συμμετέχοντα στο πρόγραμμα αυτό επιδοτείται μέχρι του ποσού των 170€(*), σύμφωνα με τους όρους και τους κανόνες του Erasmus+. Οι συμμετέχοντες λαμβάνουν την επιδότηση αυτή μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…).
(*: Επεξήγηση: αν λοιπόν το συνολικό κόστος των εισιτηρίων σου, αεροπορικά, μετρό, λεωφορεία, κλπ (όχι ΤΑΞΙ) φτάσει τα 155€ τότε θα λάβεις 155€ άρα θα επιδοτηθεί το 100% του κόστους των μετακινήσεων σου. Αν το συνολικό κόστος φτάσει τα 200€ τότε θα λάβεις το μέγιστο της επιδότησης τα 170€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτεται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.

Ο κάθε συμμετέχοντας θα πρέπει να έχει ιδιωτική ασφάλιση κατά την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου, καθώς δεν θα τους καλύπτει κάποιος δημόσιος φορέας κατά την παραμονή τους στην Ιταλία ή να είναι κάτοχος της Ευρωπαϊκής κάρτας Ασφάλισης Ασθενείας.
