Πρόταση της ΕΛΙΞ για Εκπαιδευτικό Πρόγραμμα με θέμα "Activity and visibility II – from personal to public communication" στην Κροατία 25/8-2/9/2013

Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος με θέμα "Activity and visibility II – from personal to public communication" που φιλοξενεί η οργάνωση Forum for Freedom in Education, έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς 4 θέσεις και αναζητά άτομα (άνω των 18 χρονών) που επιθυμούν να συμμετέχουν στο Εκπαιδευτικό Σεμινάριο που διοργανώνεται στο Crikvenica, της Κροατίας, από τις 25 Αυγούστου έως τις 2 Σεπτέμβριου 2013.

Το σεμινάριο απευθύνεται σε ενεργούς νέους που δραστηριοποιούνται σε άτυπες θεματικές ομάδες, σε  τοπικές ομάδες πρωτοβουλιών ή ΜΚΟ που θέλουν να αναπτύξουν τις γνώσεις τους και να εκπαιδευτούν σε θέματα επικοινωνίας όπως:

- Βελτίωση της αναγνωρισιμότητα μιας ομάδας
- Τρόποι για να αυξηθούν οι νέοι που εμπλέκονται σε δράσεις που αφορούν την κοινωνία
- Μεθόδους προβολής δράσεων
- Μέθοδοι για την ανάπτυξη επικοινωνιακών δυνατοτήτων για την επίλυση προβλημάτων
- Δημιουργία επικοινωνιακού προφίλ
- Προετοιμασία άρθρων, δελτίων τύπου και δημιουργία φυλλαδίων

Λίγα λόγια για το πρόγραμμα:
In today’s world we are surrounded with the information gained through the media. Public relations are also a crucial part of receiving information. The training course will help the participants to answer the questions like How can we make our organization more visible? How can we engage more young people to actively participate in the society? What are the methods used for visibility of projects and actions? How can I develop my personal communication skills in order to resolve conflicts? What's my communication style?

Surveys carried out in Europe and Croatia show that civil society organizations do not have sufficiently developed relationships with the public - there isn’t a person who would be responsible for communication within the organization, but also to the public. Most people who work in NGOs consider necessary to introduce training on public relations. Because of this, training will supply the participants with knowledge about public relations and later they will be able to actively use techniques in their organizations. On training, the participants will discuss about issues and ethics of the media and public relations through the sharing of experiences and examples from their own countries. Furthermore, workshop regarding journalism will be held – it will provide concrete tools (of public relations) which participants can use in professional and personal life.

During the training, participants will improve their communication skills – interpersonal, intrapersonal, verbal and nonverbal communication. Specific objectives are to provide new skills, knowledge, techniques and tools that will help participants in their future work with young people and to encourage them in the active civic engagement, primarily through the dissemination of information through media and through other communication channels.

We are going to use non-formal methodology and it will be adjusted to the participants. We will use – discussions, role playing, case studies, simulations, group work, workshops, peer education, and other methods which are crucial for non-formal learning. Furthermore, during the training, the participants will have their short presentations about their organizations and the trainers will have presentations about good practices in public relations and personal communication.

ABOUT THE TRAINING COURSE
During the training we will have an important workshop – journalism workshop. It must be emphasized that the written articles, interviews or other journalistic forms will be published as electronic publication in .pdf. Also, the participants will have an assignment to, with trainers, work on leaflet which main aim is to show the possibilities of visibility of projects and organizations in community.

Participants must:
- be youth (older than 18), youth workers, volunteers, trainers, teachers or professionals working with youth;
- come from one of 8 countries involved in the project: Croatia, Greece, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Italy, Romania and Turkey.

Participants should also:
- be highly motivated in learning new skills (especially regarding to the topic of the TC), meeting new people and exchanging their experiences;
- be able to communicate and work fluently and independently in English during the whole training course;
- be open-minded, enthusiastic and ready to work in challenging situations.

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από του διοργανωτές.

Το 70% του κόστους μετακινήσεων επιστρέφει στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Το ποσό αυτό σύμφωνα με του όρους των προγραμμάτων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης δεν μπορεί να ξεπερνά ένα άνω όριο όπου για αυτό το πρόγραμμα είναι:
