Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του καλλιτεχνικού προγράμματος ανταλλαγής νέων με τίτλο "Sounds of Youth" διάρκειας 24 ημερών, που φιλοξενείται από την οργάνωση Solidarités Jeunesses, αναζητά 5 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18 έως 30 ετών και έναν/μια αρχηγό ηλικίας 18+ προκειμένου να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 26 Αυγούστου έως τις 18 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018 στην πόλη Cadouin της Γαλλίας.
Στο πρόγραμμα, που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+, θα συμμετέχουν 25 νέοι και νέες από Γαλλία, Λετονία, Ουγγαρία και Ελλάδα!
Η προθεσμία για αιτήσεις για επικεφαλής/αρχηγό είναι στις 30 Ιουνίου 2018. Η προθεσμία για τους συμμετέχοντες είναι στην 1η Ιουλίου 2018.

Project
The «Sounds of Youth» project is an exchange between 25 young people from 4 different countries. It will take place in the town of Cadouin, a medieval hosting village since its creation, in partnership with local associations, including the EAC (artistic and cultural education), very active who organizes concerts and events throughout the year.
"Sounds of Youth" promotes cultural diversity by involving young participants through a common musical creation.
Music crosses borders in creation, performance and diffusion. This makes music a very appropriate medium for intercultural understanding and communication.
The inevitable mix of musical influences from the cultural environments of participating countries will contribute to international and trans-European musical creation that bypasses national borders and cultural frameworks of individual countries, and intercultural cooperation is the basis of all social interactions in international exchanges.
During the project participants will meet inhabitants, create shows, flashmobs, and will use singing and music as tools for creation and sharing.
The idea is to promote the richness of our diversities and European spirit, and to promote a territory rich of culture.
Participants will be invited to work in exchange workshops, thus transmitting practices and know-how.
Goals
Beyond the objectives of local development and intercultural learning we wish to :
• Develop youth cultures
• Obtain recognition and awareness of cultural diversity
• Improve the level of skills and competencies of young people, by including those with fewer opportunities, in order to improve their personal development and employability
• Encourage active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity
• Encourage better quality of youth work, in particular through enhanced cooperation between partner institutions.
• Improve awareness and understanding of cultures and foreign countries among participants, while providing them with opportunities for networking, actively participating in society and developing a sense of European identity.
While creating and implementing the project we will respect and promote European values, such as pluralism, equity, solidarity and gender equality.
Pedagogy
In order to achieve these objectives, the method used is the "project approach", not centered on the activity but on the individual (non-formal education method).
How
Discovering the place and its beauties
Meeting partners, local associations and inhabitants through artistic expression and creation workshops, but also during informal exchanges.

Activities
1st week: the group and the village
- Work in the expression workshop (work of body and voice expression, writing) discover the creative possibilities of every participant.
- Visits and journey, opportunities to know local / social environment
- Participation in local market, international meals, …
- Becoming familiar with the process of structuring a song and learning to cooperate in a group.
2nd week: share and exchange with people and places
- Creation and writing (singing, music)
- Creation of harmonies, melodies and writing (possibility by inhabitants to participate)
- Activities and interventions in the village and its surroundings.
3rd week: create and know how to give back
- The management of the scene, sound and light and its importance in a musical event.
- Activities in the village and its surroundings.
- Preparation of a cultural and artistic event by young international and inhabitants
- Presentation of a final creation
In terms of local partnerships, we will work in the village of Cadouin, its surroundings, its inhabitants and its local structures and we will offer free and open space to meet each others:
- during the weekly village markets
- open to all, performances in different places with the agreement of the people
- 4 international days, each dedicated to a participating country and a fifth international day open to all (meals, games, debates, performances).
Practical arrangements
Participants will be hosted in tents in the village behind the UNESCO listed abbey.
They will have:
• a kitchen area (converted for the project)
• sanitary of the campsite (dry toilets, solars sinks and showers)
• tents to sleep
• work rooms
The town of Cadouin is committed to facilitate integration in the village by putting us in contact with inhabitants and local structures, by relaying information and by disseminating information about the project.
Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding passes, κλπ.…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case it will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.
Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.
