Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος με τίτλο “Volunteering, a tool for social inclusion and active participation of asylum seekers in the local community”, που διοργανώνεται από την οργάνωση Compagnons Bâtisseurs (CBB) του Βελγίου, αναζητά 1 συμμετέχοντα/ συμμετέχουσα ηλικίας 18+ προκειμένου να λάβει μέρος.

Το σεμινάριο έχει θέμα την υποστήριξη της ένταξη των αιτούντων ασύλου, μέσω της ενεργούς συμμετοχής τους σε εθελοντικά προγράμματα, στη χώρα υποδοχής τους και θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 3 έως τις 7 Ιουνίου 2019 στο Βέλγιο στην περιοχή Harsin.

Στο πρόγραμμα, που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+, θα συμμετέχουν 22 συμμετέχοντες από εφτά χώρες.

Project Summary
Our seminar will give youth and social workers the opportunity to meet, share and develop new opportunities in order to support the social participation of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, in volunteering projects.

This project aims to gather youth workers, active in different fields, such as youth volunteering and support to migrants, with the objective to enhance their collaboration and ability to facilitate the inclusion of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in their host country, by favoring a better understanding of the local community as well as helping volunteers to build their own social network.

CBB organizes this seminar in cooperation and with the support of the Department for Reception of asylum seekers of the Belgian Red Cross. Our organizations already actively cooperate in order to offer opportunities to asylum seekers in Belgium, who are able to take part in volunteering activities. We are moved by a common willingness to extend and share our practices, as well as to be inspired by others.

Who ? 22 youth workers/staff members from 9 organizations.

To do what?
The Seminar For Youth Workers “Volunteering, a tool for social inclusion and active participation of asylum seekers in the local community” is thought to achieve several operational objectives which are:

• to enhance the social inclusion and active participation of migrants in their host country by considering the promotion and development of volunteering opportunities,
• to extend the network of organizations interested in using volunteering as a support tool for inclusion of migrants/asylum seekers/refugees in the local community,
• to share experiences and to get to know about the realities in other countries in order to enrich our references,
• to exchange good practices based on partnership work between youth organizations and organizations/institutions involved in the hosting, monitoring and/or accompanying services for migrant/asylum seekers/refugees,
• to promote European cooperation in the field of social inclusion. In this perspective, to define, for example, how we can use the European Solidarity Corps project (ESC) as a new opportunity to support the social inclusion of migrants in their host country,
• to define which measures we will implement for the dissemination and exploitation of the results.

Profile of the participants
This seminar aims to bring together workers experienced or interested in mobilizing young asylum seekers, refugees or migrants in volunteering activities.

• Youth workers involved or interested in inclusion of migrants in the activities they develop,
• Social workers working with this public,
• People active in associative networks at local, regional or national level that include migrants into their actions.

Υπόλοιπα Οικονομικά Στοιχεία
Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα.
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case it will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Η διαμονή και η διατροφή των συμμετεχόντων καλύπτονται πλήρως από το πρόγραμμα.

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 100€.
