Συνεχίζει η υλοποίηση του προγράμματος “GO TEENS”, που υποστηρίζεται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ και συντονίζεται από την Γαλλική οργάνωση Solidarités Jeunesses σε συνεργασία με άλλους 8 εταίρους από την Ελλάδα, Ισπανία, Ιαπωνία, Ινδία, Εσθονία, Ιταλία, Γαλλία και από τον Καναδά.

Η ΕΛΙΞ ως εταίρος του προγράμματος που περιλαμβάνει μια πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα σειρά δραστηριοτήτων όπου θα γίνουν, όπως η ανταλλαγή βέλτιστων πρακτικών και η προετοιμασία - τόσο των οργανώσεων όσο και των νέων που θα συμμετάσχουν - στην υλοποίηση προγραμμάτων εθελοντικής εργασίας για εφήβους και την εργασία με αυτή την ομάδα στόχος, με την μοναδική ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχουν οι νέοι σε ένα εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο στην Γαλλία τον Μάρτιο και σε δύο εμπειρίες “job shadowing”, στην Ισπανία και στην Εσθονία, δίπλα στους έμπειρους ομαδάρχες των χωρών εταίρων του προγράμματος, στο πεδίο της διαχείρισης εθελοντών εφήβων, το καλοκαίρι 2020.

Για την δεύτερη φάση του προγράμματος, το εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο “Organising and Leading International Projects for Teenagers”, η ΕΛΙΞ αναζητά 2 άτομα ηλικίας 18+. Tο πρόγραμμα θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 23 (ημέρα άφιξης) έως τις 29 Μαρτίου (ημέρα αναχώρησης) 2020 στο κέντρο “La Ferme du Faï”, μια φάρμα στην καρδιά των γαλλικών Άλπεων, σε μια πανέμορφη περιοχή 3 χλμ. από το χωριό Saix και 30 χλμ. από την πόλη Gap της Γαλλίας.

Οι συμμετέχοντες που θα λάβουν μέρος στο σεμινάριο στη Γαλλία θα έπρεπε να είναι διαθέσιμοι να γίνουν ομαδάρχες στο πρόγραμμα εθελοντικής εργασίας για εφήβους που η ΕΛΙΞ θα πραγματοποιήσει το καλοκαίρι 2020 και να συμμετάσχουν τουλάχιστον σε μια εμπειρία «job shadowing» στο εξωτερικό.

Training course “Organizing and Leading International Projects for Teenagers”

This training will provide participating organizations with the opportunity to develop the specific competences necessary in working with teenagers in an international context. It is aimed at developing the capacities of youth workers to organize projects for youngsters, including teenagers with fewer opportunities, and create spaces where they could explore an international context by living and working together.

Following the «Seminar on quality youth work and inclusion models for teenagers» recently held in Spain, we organize a training that is aimed at developing and reinforce the capacities of camp leaders necessary in intercultural learning, social pedagogy and teenage work, in order to increase the number of projects and teenage volunteers.

Training objectives:

• clarifying the specificities of working with teenagers, especially the ones with fewer opportunities;
• providing youth workers with practical skills, competences and tools necessary to lead international activities for teenagers;
• supporting the organizations and improving the quality of non-formal learning and the teen projects (the so called “experimentations”) that will be implemented during summer 2020.

Participants: 2 from each partner organization

Who can participate?
This seminar is open to camp leaders who:

• have led a workcamp or participated in a workcamp
• ideally, have experience with teenagers
• speak English (and if possible, the language of the country)
• are 18 years old minimum
• are involved in the organization and willing to contribute in the future
• are available to lead a teenage workcamp (12 to 16 days) in Spain and/or in Estonia between July and August 2020.

Accommodation and schedule
The training will last 5 full days starting from 23rd to 29th March, including travel days.

Participants will arrive on Monday 23rd and will leave on Sunday 29th March. The training will take place in the “Ferme du Fai” in the organization Les Villages des Jeunes, one of Solidarités Jeunesses regional projects, in Hautes Alpes. It is situated 3 km away from the village of Saix, 30 km from the city of Gap, 200 km from Marseille.

The old buildings of le Fai farm have been developed into small apartments and group accommodations. Participants will be accommodated in bedrooms of 2 to 4 people and will have at their disposal all the facilities of the centre (dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets).

Methodology
The training methodology will rely on non-formal education. The different workshops will be built around the needs and knowledge of the participants, with experts in teenage pedagogy and on the impact of volunteering.

Experimentations and Job Shadowing
In summer 2020, all the participating organizations will implement international activities for teenagers based on hands-on work and collective life. Experimentations will allow them to implement what was acquired and developed in the past phases, having also the support and contributions of the participants of the training. It is intended as a multifaceted activity that will have a multiplier effect for other staff members, providing trainees with international field experience and empowering teenagers (as participants of the experimentations) through the acquisition of new skills, competences and international perspectives.

Financial conditions
Travel reimbursement will be up to 275 euro for each participant*. The amount will be reimbursed by Solidarités Jeunesses approximatively 3 months after the end of the training on receipt of all boarding passes and train/bus tickets. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have been confirmed by email as a participant on this event. Once confirmed, you will receive a detailed infosheet and you should send your travel plans to Solidarités Jeunesses for approval before booking (in order to avoid any unnecessary problems with reimbursement due to the financial regulations of the program).*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 275€, you will receive all 275€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Accommodation and board are fully covered by the project.
