Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος ανταλλαγής νέων με τίτλο "MOUNTAIN WONDERS IV“ που φιλοξενείται από τις οργανώσεις Solidarités Jeunesses και Les-Villages des Jeunes αναζητά 4 συμμετέχοντες ηλικίας 18 έως 30 ετών και έναν/μια αρχηγό ηλικίας 18+ .

Tο πρόγραμμα που θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 9 έως 29 Μαΐου 2021 (συμπεριλαμβανομένου και τις μέρες ταξιδιού) στο κέντρο “Faï”, μια φάρμα στην καρδιά των γαλλικών Άλπεων, σε μια πανέμορφη περιοχή 3 χλμ. από το χωριό Saix και 30 χλμ. από την πόλη Gap της Γαλλίας.

Ένα περιβαλλοντικό και ταυτόχρονά κοινωνικό έργο καθώς μέσα από τη βελτιστοποίηση των φυσικών πόρων του τόπου, επεξεργασίας των προϊόντων και ευαισθητοποίησης για την προστιθέμενη αξία τέτοιων δραστηριοτήτων, εντάσσει τους ντόπιους που αντιμετωπίζουν κοινωνικές και επαγγελματικές δυσκολίες και φιλοξενούνται νέους που αντιμετωπίζουν οικογενειακές, υγειονομικές ή σχολικές δυσκολίες. Η ανταλλαγή νέων θα είναι η ευκαιρία να μοιραστεί αυτή τη δραστηριότητα με άλλους νέους και να ενισχύσει τους δεσμούς με τους τοπικούς αγρότες.

Στο πρόγραμμα, που συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+, θα συμμετέχουν 25 νέοι και νέες από Γαλλία, Εσθονία, Βέλγιο, Τουρκία και Ελλάδα!

European Youth Exchange “MOUNTAIN WONDERS IV’’

In the heart of the Hautes Alpes, “Les Villages des Jeunes” has been managing, livening up and renovating the reception center of the Faï since 1990. It is a former agriculture domain situated at an altitude of 1000 meters where fruit trees and lavender used to be cultivated. Although our actual project is rather “social” than “environmental”, we want to optimize the natural resources of the site, process our products and raise awareness about the added value of such activities in very rural places. The youth exchange will be the opportunity to share this activity with other young people and reinforce links with the local farmers.

From April to December, an inclusion project is organized for local people experiencing social and professional difficulties and we host young people facing family, health or school difficulties. In summer, Faï is also an inspiring place for professional artists who come to create together and perform in our yearly festivals. The international youth workcamps and European exchanges that we organize in Faï contribute to make this place «extra». Indeed, people of different ages, from different countries and cultures, employees and volunteers, artists and tourists, live and work together for some days or several months. We hope that you will also join this spirit of meeting and «doing together» that drives our project!

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES OF THE PROJECT

• Reflection about local food systems and the revitalization of rural areas:
  This exchange will be the chance to have discussions with the local population and within the group about the importance of local processing, its role in the rural economy and in social systems. Together they will exchange about different initiatives from their countries, supporting rural and mountainous areas.
• Practice and learn about food processing techniques:
  The group will not only visit local producers and discover small-scale food processing places, but also experiment several processing techniques during workshops that will be the heart of the program: food cans, dried plants, jams, juices, distillation… These workshops will be enriched by interventions of professional producers and also local people who kept the traditional knowledge of processing and who wish to share it with European youth.
• Organization of a festival to celebrate “locally processed products”:
  To shed light on their productions and on the local farmers products, the participants are offered to organize a “Wonder Market”, to prepare workshops for the visitors, and to organize the different aspects of such an event (communication, program, logistics...)

Project dates and location:
Dates: 9 - 29 of May 2021.
Location: The Farm of the Faï is 3km from the village of saix, 30 km from the city of Gap, 200km from Marseille (and more than 2 hours from the sea side…) France.

Accommodation
The old buildings of le Faï farm have been developed into small apartments and group accommodations. participants will be accommodated in bedrooms of 3 to 6 people and will have at their disposal all the facilities of the center (dining room, kitchen, showers and toilets).

Leaders profile(*¹)
1 Leader: He/she must participate in the online training where we will discuss important matters for the implementation of the project, such as: accommodation, planning, implementation of daily activities, local partners, etc.

Leaders should:

• have led a youth exchange team of volunteers or participated in a youth exchange
• speak English
• are 18 years old minimum
• Excellent Communicational and Organizational Skills.

Οικονομικά στοιχεία:
Η διαμονή και η διατροφή καλύπτονται πλήρως από τους διοργανωτές.

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται από την διοργανώτρια οργάνωση στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ.…). Σύμφωνα με τους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+, το μέγιστο ποσό που καλύπτεται για τα μεταφορικά είναι μέχρι 275€(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα. Για την επιστροφή των χρημάτων είναι απαραίτητη η συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα.

*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 200€, you will receive all 200€, and in this case, it will be 100% of the travel. Otherwise, if you pay 300€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 275€.)

Το ποσό συμμετοχής προς την ΕΛΙΞ είναι 50€.
*O/H Leader δεν πληρώνει το ποσό συμμετοχής.

** Πολιτική Ακύρωσης:

• Σε περίπτωση που το πρόγραμμα ακυρωθεί απο την μεριά των διοργανωτών το ποσό συμμετοχής επιστέφεται ή μπορείτε να το χρεισημοποιήσετε σε άλλο πρόγραμμα.
• Σε περίπτωση που ακυρώσετε την συμμετοχή σας, ενώ το πρόγραμμα διεξάγεται κανονικά, το ποσό συμμετοχής δεν επιστρέφεται.
