Project Description: Project participants will gather in Armenia and during 7 days, using folklore: the national epics, ancient tales, fairy-tales, parables of the countries they came from, participants will discuss the spiritual, cultural and historical heritage of the Europeans, based on the principles of "victory of good over evil".
Every nation has its specific folklore, but it is not surprising that there are stories, travelling from country to country, which seem to be similar thus enabling people to think that the particular story or plot belongs to their own nation and culture. This is explained simply in a way that  ideas of happiness, good and evil, life and death in general are similar for all peoples.  Every nation has preserved and cherished its folklore and passed on from generation to generation, alongside with a number of outstanding works of human mind.
Each participant will present a fairy-tale, epos, traditions of their nation to others, displaying the ethnic diversity of the people of Europe and will try to draw parallels between the ideas conveyed in the folklore and the fundamental values of EU – the respect of human dignity, human rights, rights of families and communities, democracy and freedom, gender equality, pluralism, justice against discrimination, xenophobia and marginalization, solidarity, ideas that every nation has its peculiar mentality and world view, culture, history, traditions, but all these nations share common values.
Based on discussions and debates and folklore works the participant will prepare short sketches. The participants will come up as directors, actors, decorators and at the same time active audience.

Objectives, the project will:
• enable each participant to get acquainted with the Cultural Diversity and the values of the Europeans, to enrich the knowledge of other peoples, their culture and history, make comparisons and find the parallels between the old folk ideas and values proclaimed in our time.
• give young participants confidence in their ability to perceive other cultures and to present the elements of folklore and important European values
• help participants to feel themselves European citizens and successors of the glorious traditions of their peoples, as well as improve their responsibility for work, study, life-style as a person who will shape the future of Europe.
• foster understanding and tolerance between young people of different nationalities, the participants will acquire effective team work skills.

The methodology of the project will be interactive, non-formal, providing spaces for background discussions and reflections.
There will be different non-formal training methods used to build a dynamic program to ensure active involvement and participation of the participants: working groups, lectures, role-play games, round table discussions with experts.
The methods are chosen in a way to allow for a maximum of substantial learning effects. The applied methods will help the participants to assimilate the gained information, materials. The acquired knowledge will ensure a firm effect for the personal development of the participants.
